what would happen if jagex disabled trades?

bored and feel like a topic, i know thisll never ever happen but what do you think would happen if jagex disabled trades for:

1) a day

2) a week

3) a month

4) 6 months

5) perm.

my opinion is: riots ALL DAY for months, but it would make people self suifficient (id be messed over for dhides etc lol :( could get barrows and whip and some runes fairly easy tho :o), also i imagine itd be impossible to get items thru pking otherwise people would trade like that. (new scam lol?). Also people would never alch. I reckon also at the end of it being disabled, the value of gp would change ALOT because of so many items being pumped into the economy, and if it was disabled for more than a week people would mass quit, and 3 months+ the game would die. people who train all skills would probably like it because they would have better stuff than people who specialise in 1 skill.

1) Lots of threads on all forums, lots of talking in game

2) Lol riots, complaints, messages to Jagex adding to no 1

3) Everyone shocked, days after the apocalypse

5) Then it would mean I better get a partyhat before it's too late.

1. People may not play for that day and just hang outside or something. But most likely a riot in world 99 fally

2. People who hang out in minigames and do some combat or something.

3. ALOT of riots and some people would get their levels up.

4. ALOT ALOT of rioting and the people who didn't take breaks would skill for what they needed.

5. ALOT ALOT ALOT ALOT of riots alot would quit and some would stay and get their own stuff.

Should this post really be in Questionnaires? It seems like it has a lot of discussion possibilities through "how dependent are we on each other in the RS market" and "how dependent are we on macroers"

Some stats would be easy to get up. Most combat could be leveled almost like normal (though barrows armor would be harder to get) but things like herblore would be a ton harder, since you couldn't buy herbs.

1) could carless  i thin everyone could wait a day to trade...

2) get a lil frustrating.. people would get annoted but not too

3) membership accounts would go WAY down for a month

4) alot of people would take a break/move to dif mmorpg for that while maybe even start going...OUTSIDE

5) Would have to gather your own supplies for everything, no more scamming.

Let your yellow mellow.

If the police arrest a mime do they tell him he has the right to remain silent?

If it were temporary, at the end of the duration the value of supply items, and other items that are used extensively & lost (rune sets...) would have fallen considerably, as more people would have been gathering themselves - both creating supply, and maybe making them realize they don't have to buy them.

If it were permanent, the game would be seriously changed. Some 99s (Runecrafting, among others that involve a lot of resource consumption) would have a whole new meaning. This would very possibly cut down on 99 skilling in certain skills (and likely training over all). And people with rares would be gods O:) although some people might not be happy to have lost most of their net worth to an untradable item that does nothing...

The funny thing is, this actually happened on another Game I used to play, Habbo USA.

I only went on it for a while since I went on UK [i'm from England] and they seemed quite used to it. Although the game basically revolves around trading people made ways to play it.

If I was to explain how they did it, nobody would understand what I'm talking about, I'm just saying people would think of ways in which to play the game.

1) a day

Questions being asked.

2) a week

Anger between players...

3) a month

Lots of players beggining to leave

4) 6 months

Half players have left

5) perm.

3 players on world 2.

Lmao
