Yes he does...but I am not sure he did it here. For one it is not simple. The lines make it busy. And I don't think that everything he does is meant to be simple. He just has that rep. He has been type cast.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I like the tree. I like the text. I like the box. I just don't like the big grey lines. I know they are kind of necessary to tie it all together...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

hm...not sure what to tell you on this one. I just don't see that it says anything about you, is a good example of your design skills, or really has anything to recommend it. It doesn't make any statement, or have any relation to anything that I would associate with you. I hate to be harsh sounding, and I know it is coming out that way, I just don't think it works.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

You have an organic vibrant element with a harsh synthetic, not even mechanical, just abstracted cold line thing. And the blending just looks like you erased it in rather than tried to blend the two concepts in some way that would make the brain make sense of it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The colors kind of clash..the whole idea clashes. Maybe that is what you were going for? Not sure.

I like the new version tons better. It's really (in lack of better synonyms) eye-pleasing, and just beautiful. Good job.

 

 

 

Just one thing, the text is covering the little "gradient-bent" or whatchamacallit a tad, and it's really annoying! :P

 

 

 

So if you could move the text a bit down, and to the right, it would be pretty much flawless.

the cloud on the ground to the right looks a bit odd, but otherwise much better

V2.2 is definetely as good as it can get, great that the cloude to the left ot the tree is fixed. Great atmosphere, very nice. :)
