First, i want to know how many feathers that will take (starting at 65) and how much the feathers will cost (buying from a shop OR player) Thanks in advance I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.

October 10, 200718 yr Really is interesting about unlimited shops, is some diference in price buying 1m of items or 1k items? Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.Visit my exp track
October 10, 200718 yr With infinate stock they all cost the same, no matter how many you buy. You can only buy 50k at a time tho. I bought them from 70-99 and have gone with 200k. Used about 8k from 70-75. Can't be bothered to work out the maths for the rest. If I need more I will buy :) Trust the Gene Genie!

First, i want to know how many feathers that will take (starting at 65) Well, with fly fishng you get a mix of trout and salmon so if you averaged 50% of each then you would need about 210,000 feathers. and how much the feathers will cost (buying from a shop If you can buy them from the Port Sarim fish store for 6 gp each, then that would cost you 1.26 million gp OR player No real reason to buy from others players now after this most recent store update. October 12, 200718 yr try fly fishing at shilo too. I think its closer to bank there, but you could just drop at barbarian village too Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
October 12, 200718 yr when you get to 70 fishing, you may want to switch to barbarian fly fishing. It's the fastest fishing exp in the game, and also gives str, agility, and cooking exp. Proud owner of a Quest cape!

You will gain a respectable 99 skill (fishing), a second 99 skill (cooking) and will still have fish left over to sell raw to nooby cooks. The cooked food can then be sold in bulk for yet more profit. As long as your selling your fish for more than 6ea (feather price) then you are going to make profit. Say I sell 100k cooked trouts for 10ea. Thats 1mil. Yet it only cost me 600k in feathers. Plus I got fishing and cooking XP. Afterwards you can fish sharks for reasonable fast cash. The only downside is it will take a while. 73-99 is roughly 12mil XP. At 50k per hour thats 240 hours of fishing. 10 days solidly fishing. :cry: Thats before you start thinking about the cooking. October 12, 200718 yr if your only looking for fishing xp,the best way would be barb outpost fishing.. just need 25 feathers, big rod (found under the dudes bed), and a knife fish with the 25 feathers untill you have non left cut the fish up with your knife, if you have enough roe and caviar drop the offcuts and fish agian if your low on roe and caviar use the offcuts to fish for a full invo agian. xp = around 30-55k xp an hour if you pay attetion also u get a little Str,Agility,Cooking xp for catching/cutting the fish :)
