 Jagex will never offer this kind of convienience, There would be chaos even after it happened, it's like showing your PSP to a friend and then grabbing it from his hand after he gets a feel with the gameplay, I think you would go insane wouldn't you?!?

EXAMPLE:

Jagex should have a day, maybe 1 day each month, where f2p players can log on to members worlds. Just to give a tast of what they will get when they subscribe.

I wrote a little ryhme just for an occassion like this,

one, two, buckle my shoe,

three, four, shut the door,

five, six, pick up sticks,

seven, eight, SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm F2P and I know this is the stupidest idea EVER!!!!!! Jagex has absolutely no reason WHATSOEVER to do this. We don't pay, we don't get P2P!!! You know, hence the name, PAY 2 PLAY!! It's not, P2PIYWTODAYCSGADTPEM (Pay 2 play if you want to or don't and you can still get a day to play every month), it's just pay 2 play. Thank you and goodnight.

P.S. The PSP thing would really bite, if my freind did that to me, I would kick him, take it back, and run.

P.S.2 I'm sorry about the use of caps and all that. And i'm sorry about the flaming. And i'm sorry for sayin i'm sorry 4 times.

I don't think having RSC free for a day would be bad

I remember playing RSC once for free WAY back when... When did it convert to members only?

i think that jagex every day of the month should open the free worlds and make them like members so that people see what they can do, and stuff

On that Day I wish all the free players start off in Lumby with a KBD set loose there to say hello.

I think that having a free runescape membership day would be good, but they should filter who can get the free day

As follows

1 Day, and any gain in skills or completed quests are lost

Only 1 member world allows people to log in

Only people who have an overall level sum of 900 or more are allowed to enter.

Only people who have never been runescape members are allowed to have the free day.

Although this will probably never happen, if it does, this seems like the best way to avoid a massive noob swamp in member worlds.

Now, theres a terrible idea.

im kinda against the idea completely, but if it was to be implemented, one thing they could do would be to create "spectator" accounts that anyone could use to go into free world. It cant really do anything (no training, quests, etc), just walk around the world and see the extras members has to offer. Also, you cant type or trade, thus leaving the members alone.

not a bad idea, since its for only 1 day

I think having a free-trial of members would be a better idea. Of course, F2P is sorta a free trial in itself.

yay! :D that sounds right.

Yes one day. But not each month. Maybe one day a year.

And don't say it will lose Jagex money, that would only happen if you had to pay-per-day.

Not sure if it's been mentioned since there are quite a few pages. But it just isn't feasible to do that.

There are about 36 members worlds, max capacity 2000 ppl. That's a total of 72,000 ppl logged on fully. With the number of players on any given day being twice that amount. Most people (f2p and p2p) wouldn't be able to log in. F2p would complain that they didn't get a chance to get in and see what it's like, and p2p (who did pay for a full month) would be locked out of the worlds that they subscribe to.

And lets say that it was possoble for everyone to get on. All f2pers would spend most of the time just trying to get from place to place. Let me tell you, if you have never had members, the world is huge and takes a bit of time to walk. F2pers wouldn't have the tele spells for most places (as quests are needed for the higher ones), and quests are needed for most of the other transportation methods (gnome trees, gliders).

Sure you might be able to buy some stuff, but the next day you couldn't do anything with it, and any real bonuses (ie special attacks, etc.) would be lost when you went back to f2p.

Sorry, it's just not a good idea. As I read earlier, the free version is the demo, if you like what you have in the free version and want more, then you need to subscribe. But let me tell you it's worth it for around $5 a month.

If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.
