did everyone's current 360 magically upgrade to get a falcon chip? no, the falcon model is gonna be on the shelves

Turning in a defective system = new system. Microsoft increased everyones warranties so it shouldn't be a problem.

Uh, no. Both systems are in the same gen, have comparable graphics and comparable hardware.

 

 

 

 

 

for the first year or so, pretty much the only standout marketable title was gears of war that was only out for 360

 

this is about to be ps3's first year in a week or so

 

on ps3 it was resistance that had good sales and was an exclusive

 

 

 

 

It had more than gears, the PS3 pretty much has just had resistance and perhaps motorstorm or w/e. There are some good games coming out soon/now (Ratchet and clank 3, ect.) but still.

 

 

 

The fact is though is that the xbox will always have this head start on the PS3. As long as they keep up with the good exclusives (which they are, mind you) than it will still be competition.

Wii's success= Partyosity. (I have my own dictionary) I'm a Nintendo Fanboy :D Let down by gamecube, but, the Wii actually is fun because of the Partyosity factor. (The virtual console also lets me play old games I'd like to play but, can't find anymore and ones I don't have the system for.)

I'd like one for Christmas, Sony are now having console's up in the city and giving Demo's of games etc and to be honest, they have got my vote. My point was that game wise the PS3 is pretty tiring, just going after more sequels. No doubt its going to sell a lot more of them, but will it be enough?

There is a difference between blindly hating the PS3 and currently thinking it doesn't have anything good to offer. I currently think the later.

Actually, most, if not all of us know the ps3's line up quite well. You know why? Because there's like a dozen good games! It's not that hard to remember them all.

I agree that Sony messed up big time, blu-ray and the lack of current games doesn't make the ps3 look very appealing at the moment but im hoping that in the future it will catch up and hopefully be a good competitor in the next gen war. So in a few weeks i plan on ordering my ps3 and although i'm happy with the current line-up its needs a lot of improvment.
