The cooking guild is the one West of Varrock. After completing the hard Achivement Diary for varrock you can access a special bank in there. I'd never thought that a person would actually rant about cooking ranges. Dude just go use a range then. IRL a range is definitely better than a fire.. wth am I saying, mix Runescape with real life common sense and you'll end up with a headache.
