Through a combination of not knowing what to do, and perhaps some godly inspiration I decided to head down to the dagannoth kings by myself to melee rex with verac armour. Early on, I could see that it worked okay, but not nearly as good as mage would. Yet, on only my 3rd kill: Wondering how I could be more lucky... I kept killing. 4 kills later. The next kill after that. At this point I was like OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG! I just killed 1 more before I teled after that, cause I was low on supplies (melee pray gets you hit a lot) and cause I just didn't wanna risk having a lurer come when I was melee praying, and I was lagging a bit. So, there you go, solo melee trip on rex. 3 good drops in 8 kills... Making it my best solo trip ever, which is ridiculous, because I've done tons of trips where I get 40-50 kills solo. Best idea or worst idea ever? I don't even know hahaa.

November 12, 200718 yr Lol. I guess it works, but it isn't very practical if you only get in 8 kills. (even though you got like 8-9m in that trip) 40 kills > 8 kills :P 10/10 on the drops tho. congrats.

One person can get past the barricades with rune axes, or you need 2 people going through different gates.
