Members & Non-members hiscore

Featured Replies

Hi,

I was just wandering if its a good idea to have a members and non members highscore because the current highscore is getting really commpetitive and hard for new players to get a good position in the highscore. So what im asking is if this is a good idea to have a the current highscore and members and non members highscore.please post your thoughts.

If you really like this idea and want to post it on the official rs forums please do so as i am not a member.

thanks

It's a highscore mind you. Except for overall, f2p highscores aren't really necessary. Having a total exp highscore may in fact be helpful.

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

No, one highscore for the the entire game is fine. Jagex doesn't have to seperate it just because some f2p players would like to see themselves as a higher rank.

Get members if you care about the high scores? :?

Doomy edit: I like sheep

I think that rather than splitting them into F2P and P2P highscores, what they should do is put in an option for each of those two along with the current system. In other words, the default is everyone, and you can change to seeing just P2P or F2P highscores if you feel like it.

Genious... -.-

And you think people would buy members without trying part of the game first?

2 Highscores would come handy, but I think 1 is enough.

Yes. World of Warcraft?

You think this game is up to standard?

It's not even 5% of WOW standard.

You don't have to use your runescape username and password to create a account here.

Yes. World of Warcraft?
World of Warcraft was advertised by more than word of mouth (and miniclip). And, if I'm not mistaken, a lot of people these days are all about graphics which Runescape doesn't have too good of.

As for the idea, I think it would be nice and do support having the option to view only one or the other. On the other hand, I don't expect it to happen any time soon.

Unless this game has the standard of WoW.

Otherwise I don't think I'll ever pay.

I'm so happy that arrogant P2Pers that want F2P gone aren't extinct yet :D . THEY. SHALL. BURN. IN. WATER.

I don't think two highscores are necessary. How 'bout you drop this idea and suggest something better, such as pet rocks requiring mates?

High scores aren't just going to be a way to check out peoples' skills, they'll be an ACHIEVEMENT. Even though F2P hiscores would be nice, I doubt it will happen, and new players don't need to make the hiscores anyway, it takes commitment to get in there.

Although I could care less about ranks, it would be nice to see where I stand compared to the rest o the population.

Honestly, I would like to see this, but, I would much rather have bank space. Or my random events box update. Even better, both.

But, it would kind of make A U R A's work for nothing.

10/10, and yes I would agree with that statement he is way to pompous.

It's not really needed.

Yet if there's 1 it'll be better.
