I hate Ipods, lol. Even if i didn't hate them, i still wouldn't give up my right to vote. Thats way more important.

i wouldnt. i can almost vote and waited for a long time, so i wont trade it for an ipod or money.

If the question was changed to "if you had the supreme right to choose which party got into power, and assuming this a majority of the rest of the country would agree, would you?" we'd see less "1 vote doesn't matter" and have a more interesting debate.

The more patriotic than democratic chitchat aside, as an apparently succesful result of the swedish public schooling system's goal of creating democratic citizens, it is is my sincere conviction that the "right" to vote is also a responsibility for every citizen in any nation that wishes to remain democratic. When enough people lean back and just let it slide because their "votes won't matter anyway", that's when a democratic system turns towards collapse into autocracy.

Not voting implies you don't care about the country you live in and if you don't vote you're (in an official sense) saying "i don't care if *insert fascist/communist party*" gets into power. A vote even if its not in favour of a party but simply against one you don't agree with is better than leaving the job to other people. I wouldn't give up my right to vote because it would feel as if i'm leaving the door open to any idiots to get into power.

Whichever comes first. (Yes I know the full ride is worth more than 10mil, if I don't get the full ride I want straight cash.)
