what price will whips settle at?

Featured Replies

they were 1.7....then 1.6....now its 1.5 I believe, they may be 1.6m as final price, depends on runescape's economy

1.5 average

They probably won't. As more are being introduced in the economy over time, and there is no real demand for them because of large supplies, they'll probably just keep lowering. I wouldn't be surprised if they were under a million one day.

Agreed.

They go down all the time because they are too easy to get. (Abyssal demons are one of the easiest slayer monsters.) There's no reason why this will ever change unless Jagex beefs the demons up.

well theres going to be a price that sellers will think is too low

If you try selling item A at price B for days and you don't get a buyer, what would you do? Probably either keep it (why would you need more than one whip, though, really) or try to sell it a at a lower price.

They probably won't settle. I got mine when they were 2.6, and they were the same for months.

I think they'll settle at 300k, in future. ::'

I would like to get the most difficult 99 in the game to accomplish. which is woodcutting.
because I had a drunken night in philadelphia and sprayed a fire extinguiser, evacuated a 7 story hotel on the philly stadium, spent the night in jail.. then got on level 2 prob & have to pay 50 a month because I have a job. It's their way of collecting more money out of me.

Eh..If they drop below 500-600k I won't bother selling mine anymore to be honest, my form of a boycott I spose :P

Though really I don't even sell my barrows items that I get (that are worth under 500k), I use em pking or for big monster hunting and don't worry too much if I happen to lose a piece.

Yes, 300k - 500k is a good guess on what they'll settle at eventually but it'll take some time. More and more of these whips will come out, and poor players just buy Dragon Scimitars so the demand won't be too high even though whip is a good weapon. Many other alternatives are available now for the rich players (even though they're 2H), so whip isn't as outstanding as before.

I don't think that they will settle at all.

1.35m? When I left they were 1.7, I still remember the time they were over 20m. People would DIE for one of them whips. But seriously, don't they look like a row of sausages?

They will continually go down because everyday more people can kill addy demons meaning more people getting whip drops. So it will eventually get so low that hopefully jagex will create new weapon :)
