When buying items from the 'player stock' tab in shops, prices will now be based on whichever is highest: the predefined prices or the Grand Exchange price. This change is necessary because the shops were a way that players could covertly transfer wealth. Selling items into shops or buying from the 'main stock' tab in shops will still be based on our predefined prices, though some shops have had slight changes to the prices that they will buy and sell items at.

Can't you just buy the logs off players? The GE price for willows are high atm but I think it will balance out in time.

As soon as willows, if they ever get up that high it makes cutting willows more money for me. Rather than 17 each. I like that, imo a 99 skill should not cost that little.

Have the same problem with getting raw trouts from the general store. Used to buy for 6 each. Now its more like 55 each.

 

 

 

Although there is one good thing from this. Lobbies are pretty close raw/cooked

I bet Jagex is ruining RS so that when MechScape comes out, it will be P2P and everyone will run to it to get away from RS, makgin Jagex rich.

Why does everyone rant about the GE when they're using it? If you don't like the prices, buy your items off players.

There are other methods of getting 99 fm besides buying willows from the general store... the exp/hour you get from that is REALLY low. Buy maples or something, that's what I did.

It's ruined any way of unnoting things at general stores, or making use of the tons of logs wasted at general stores which could be used for fming. Also ruined getting cheaper items from general/specialist stores that would otherwsie be expensive from players. I loved to spot a bargain in a shop, but no longer will I now :(

 

Does this mean though, that while we pay for player stock from stores at closer to the GE price, do the stores buy from us at closer to the GE price too?

Before you over react remember that prices are going to be high for the first few weeks. Jagex said as time progressed it would use the average price for each product each day and would always change. Just relax and soon prices will stop in fluctuating.

Anyways...actually try the GE?Its actually fast if you're buying at the right price(you even get cash back if extra,not some noob scammer)

Why don't you just cut your own logs and train 2 skills instead of one, and you dont have to spend any money.
