Finding the right picture has nothing to do with paint, it has to do with you walkign around runescape to find a spot, which fankly isn't all that hard.

 

And if I'm not mistakign you jsut traced the outlines in black/white.

 

For the third one jsut adding text to a picture isn't really enough to jsutify posting it as your own.

Obviously i use Photoshop CS2 one of the best image edting programs out there.

not everyone is expected to be a world class artist, I think he's produced exactly what he intended to.

 

 

 

I wouldn't say they're great waf1le, but everyone's gotta start somewhere. If you have an idea of where you want to go from here im sure we can help push you in the right direction. But I'd strongly suggest you try research things that interest you art-wise, theres a lot you can learn when you look out for composition, colouring and style. I understand your first two pictures are runescape captions but the way you go about presenting it is an empty canvas in terms of what is possible. Let your imagination carry your ideas and keep it up.

What you did must of taken some time. However this does not mean it is necessarily anything good. You may be able to spend hours tracing lines but you will not find anyone to appreciate it because it took no creativity witch is generally what you want to have.

 

 

 

For example, if you took a picture of a family member and it stood on your wall for a month. Then if you put up a new one but with lines outlining the subject. There would be nothing too interesting to look at because a outline is very simple and nothing creative. This is similar to what you have done.

 

If you are still interested in art then try going to this thread and following a tutorial on pixel art and get a idea of what should be posted.

If you are going to outline Runescape screenshots in Paint, at least make your lines clean..

 

 

 

And the white lines in the second pic look odd, they kinda make my eyes bleed. They're too bright..

It doesnt have anything to do with effort, more on experience and originality. And you shouldn't blame anything on your work other then yourself.

 

 

 

I don't find the pictures amazing, but you might be able to make a great scenery or something from scratch. Screenshots and Paint don't really mix well, I've tried.
