Matok
Hi Recently, after getting to 66 hunter i thought i might go and hunt some red chins. After 15 minutes i gave up and return to my slayer routine. It seems that the hunting ground is well-populated(even in a less crowded worlds) and the xp is just terrible. I know, the chins are good money/range xp but lets assume i can handle it. So,whats considered a good alternative for chins? btw - yes, i know, its Chinchompa
Juader
hehee i love chinchillas <3 Anyways you could do red salamanders and bank them at ourania altar with 20 fire rune / every ~20 sallies.. just get around 9k fires to be sure VIX VIX VIX
Matok
thx. well..actually i dropped all the red salliles on my 59-66 run what about the Impetuous Impulses? how bad the xp rate there?
Ollyc3
If you want the fastest xp possible.. Do Orange Salamanders til 68, then do Red Salamanders til 80, then do Red Chins til 99.. Those will be your best possible XP rates, but less profit if you go for 99. 2376/2376 total achieved - May 2009 Retired Dec 2009
magicrune
You can do falconry (dark and spottier kebbits) for quick xp. But at 80 I would certainly go to red chins, because you can use 5 traps then. 99 fletch99 Woodcutting

Given the fact that at level 69 you can "shoot" any moving target in the area makes it gr8 training spot.

Mamong
Nothing beats Red Chinchompas from lvl 80 onwards. Upto level 80, you have a few choice like Falconry, Salamanders and even Grey Chinchompas. But from 80 on, stick to Red Chins, at 5 traps they come in nice and quickly. Don't even bother with the Impling minigame. The xp is horrendous and you get an inventory full of junk really quickly. Matok
thx for the answers people,so: 66-69 = red salliles 69-80 = Kebbits 80+ = chins might do some black sallies on the way,too bad they placed them in multi-combat zone...
Mamong
Sounds pretty good. I'd leave black salamanders alone if I were you. They're in the Wildy so they're too risky and not much point going all the way out to hunt them. They're in the Wildy so they're too risky and not much point going all the way out to hunt them. There are few problems with those: As you said, there are in the wildy (not a big wildy fan myself,go there only for clues). They are placed in multi-combat zone - which means possible gang-bang. They are not stackable, and its quite a walk to get there so banking can be a pain (dual ring+balloon to sawmill might ease the pain alittle bit). Still, i gonna do few short sessions there, just for the taste.
transcript80
Why would you like ot bank salamanders? I tought they were not in high demand anyways. Other data was removed when acoount got hacked...
