magicmagicy
Now i hate making all those useless gems into useless jewelery. So lets make it into armour! We should be able to make SAPHIRE ARMOUR EMERALD ARMOUR RUBY ARMOUR DIAMOND ARMOUR. OPAL, TOPAZ, and the other(sorry im not member) ARMOUR DRAGONSTONE ARMOUR Now the supplies Im thinking you can only smith it as a whole so no seperate pieces. Im also thinking you need about 1k of the required gem to make it. It would also be uncut gems. Now for the level requirements... I was thinking about 40 craft and 40 smith for saphire 50 craft and 50 smith for emerald 60 craft and 60 smith for ruby 70 craft and 70 smith for opal, topaz, and the other 80 craft and 80 smith for diamond 99 craft and 99 smith for dragonstone. Now for the other limitations and stuff -There is NO xp given for making it. -You need an "armour mould" -When you bring your gems and use it on the furnace, the product will be x/1000 (gem) armour. You cannot wear it when its done complete. -They are not tradeable(we don't want another "rare") -You cannot wear it into the wildy -If you die, there will be a random (1-10) number of gem of that kind on the ground. SO WHY ADD THIS For those who hate jewelery and it would be cool to do this. Also if you are wearing dragonstone armour it would signify you have 99 smith and craft, also good for those who don't like to wear capes. A goal for one to work for. Adding this may keep some people playing. and thats pretty much it. PS I made this on-the-go so i may have left out a few things. Also, number of gems and skill req could be changed. magicmagicy
You can mould a gem at really high temperature... i think. This question is like. How do you cut a diamond with a chisel? Isn't the diamond the hardest substance on earth? Wouldn't that mean your chisel is made of diamond also? The point is that you don't carry all the 1000 gems. You have to do it in loads of 26! You have to carry the existing part plus the mould.

runescapeloser22
And while their at it, Jagex can add in some little butterflys that raise all your stats to 99 if you come within 100 squares of them! And ban anybody who doesn't talk for 5 minutes because they could be an autoer! Or remove all the skills because people will find a way to still use RWT!! WOOT! I'm assuming you're being sarcastic in this thread based on Jagex's recent updates, so I played along lol, forgive me if you're serious.

Then your breaking your diamond into pieces and somehow they all are perfect. Yeah right. Laws of the real world don't apply here so WHO CARES! Warrager
Hm, who would pay 45mil+ for some dragonstone armor when they could get a DFS and a santa for the same cost? Paying 3mil for some useless gem armor that'll take over an hour to complete doesn't seem very productive...

Roberthree
Make it like normal armor. Like 5 gems for a plate, 3 for legs, two for a full helm ect. There is no realistic way to get 1000 gems to a furnace/anvil. And It should give xp.
