adam_ross0
I could care less about the game, but at least the courts finally realize that adults should be allowed to play what they want to play. Besides, there are obviously a LOT of even more worse things someone could do than play video games.

underu2000
Well, it doesn't affect us Americans either way, violence is an American motif! As long as it stays away from nudity, its fine with us. Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

fatbill
Agree ^ although I doubt there be much news about it was over turned compared to when they dint give it a rating. I did oringally want to get it although ive been playing by PS2 considerably less now compared to playing games on the PC and ive got exams coming up so im not sure if its the best idea. Still good that they overturned the decition. Although did they actually overturn there first decition or just give it a rating after they changed it? Hah yeah. Violence? Chopping off all sort of limbs, excessive blood and torturing in a game? Meh -- thats nothing. But my god, show a nipple and that [cabbage] is AO right there! nine naked men
Yeah, it seems to me that sometimes games resort to excessive violence because they have no interesting gameplay to fall back on, just bucketloads of blood and gore. Sometimes it adds to the realism and tention, but sometimes it contributes to it's crappiness. Gore in moderation is good, but you don't need to go over the top. Unless it's in a humourous way. Or, like a Anatomy lesson. (TF2 anybody?) sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
Nadril
Lang, you should just be mad at crappy games -- not excessive gore. :P
nine naked men
Lang, you should just be mad at crappy games -- not excessive gore. :P Mad at crappy games? Hell no! I can use them as comparisons to make the games I like seem better to other people. :P Anyways, I'm not mad at the excessive gore, it can be quite good if done realistically, I'm just mad when they over-use it and it, quite frankly, looks sub-par to the rest of the game, like someone just went, "What would sell some more copies? Hell, let's make an arm fall off everytime you stab someone!" And I know that gore can be good when executed well. You're talking to a guy who idolizes Jigsaw. :P sleep like dead men wake up like dead men

sebbeberg
Stop thy arguing. :shame: Manhunt 2 is [cabbage] compared to Postal 2. (wich was also banned) The argument that the Wii version is more dangerous because you move your hands to do it is also [cabbage], i mean... You move the controller up and down for a bit and the media's like: OMG THE GAME IS TEACHING KIDS TO STAB EACHOTER. /end rant

I think the media has too much power over us and it is little incidents like these that ruin great games such as manhunt and stuff. After all manhunt is an 18 game and yet the media still decide what an adult can/cant play? What is this world coming to? *cry* Deviant Art Account2 Signatures | 6 Photographs | 1 Other
