Jagex missed something

I was ranging today on my f2p name and some guy came up and stole my arrows. I am kinda surprised I thought jagex would stop arrows stealers, but I was wrong. This could work to a disadvantage. People could trade arrows this way and then sell the arrows and therefore trade money, or items in a way. This way might be long and not fully work but nontheless it would slowly work.

Actually... If that works with dragon arrows then there is a way for rwters to trade. :|

 

 

 

I'm 99.2% sure arrows work in the same way as dropping items though, so they probably can't.

 

 

 

As for "arrow steeling", just use the 60 seconds that you get given to pickup your arrows.

Each arrow "dropped" as a certain value. You can only drop a visible value of 3k every 15 minutes, (more accurately, you "gain" 200gp of drop value every minute, but what have you). Therefore, dropping any near-3k value item rapidly to try to RWT is effectively useless.

 

 

 

If you're a member, try getting the accumulator. Gives a ranged bonus in the "cape" slot, and retrieves your arrows. =D

Like it's been said, RWT can still happen, but it's so annoying to do that no one will do it.

 

 

 

Even Dragon Arrows (should the exploit work), is the Buyer having to wait around while a bot (that SOMEHOW got the cash to buy enough Dragon Arrows) shoots these Dragon Arrows (so he SOMEHOW got the range for it).

 

 

 

It may be trading outside the 3k limit, but the only practicle way to do it is with a main character, which few will risk for a RWT.

 

 

 

Conveniently getting something for nothing (outside of Chance, such as at the Party Palace), has been stopped.
