Well tbh the USSR wasn't actual communism anyway, it was a warped form to suit Stalin and never really acheived the vision of Marx. However it does have a strong resemblance to Communism with the control of resource prices(to some degree there is still a free market but only within the 5%). Though the joke cheered me up :) very entertaining, soon we will have the update where 'Comrade' will be added before all our names :mrgreen:

A) Your ignorance amazes me. Fascist ideals are not right-exclusive... Communism is a broad term given to left-wing politics as capitalism is given to right wing politics. "Stalinism" is the term given to more fascist-communist while "Socialism" is the term given to more anarchist-communist polices. I realize that the line I took (i.e "Heil Hitler") was from a right winged fascist group, but I never knew I had to go all exact while being sarcastic.

 

 

 

b)I was not being serious. "Heil Andrew" was really all I could think of at the moment. He was praising Andrew as a "God Emperor", i.e a dictator.

 

Hitler=dictator, Stalin=dictator, and in this case, Andrew=dictator. That is were I was drawing my comparison..

 

 

 

C)I know that the Runescape system in more socialist than "Stalinism".

I understand the comparison with his new updates and Communist Dictatorship, but I don't think what Andrew tried to do was get rid of merchants or pures, everything was related to RWT, which is clearly against the rules and is a serious threat to RuneScape.

 

 

 

Merchants and pures were the casualties of this necessary fight, but I wouldn't go calling Andrew a communist. Preventing criminals from benefiting from breaking the law isn't communist, it's plain and simple intuitive.

 

 

 

PKers perhaps didn't realize the effect of RWT in RuneScape since they did not gather resources as much as skillers do, but assuming most players in RuneScape train their skills rather than PK, these updates benefit the majority.
