I listen to upbeat music since its scientifically proven to help you work out for longer closer to your anaerobic threshold. A couple of my favourites are:

Darude - Sandstorm

Darude - Feel the Beat

DJ Dean - Ballanation

Hilltop Hoods - Monsters Ball

ATB & Paul Van Dyk - Rave Me.

Dance and Techno songs while working out (particularly running) are great.

All this black chain soul reaper suffocate stuff  .

I just got back from the gym, and my playlist usually has all underground rap on it.

HIM - And Love Said No (album)

All the songs on repeat:all.

"Come back. Come back to me."

The beginning of atonement is the sense of its necessity -- Lord Byron

That's Daft Punk.

Yeah, you're right. I'm just a softy. A pale, out of shape geek, I don't work out or care about my body at all, Runescape is my life! Why would I ever try to make people think otherwise...

May I suggest looking over the RL pics thread; although there are many kids that fit the stereotype, there are others that do not.

Metal fans, check out my band!

Still the King....

Lol calm down Sally.

I need something with a real sense of a crushing rhythm, so groove metal (Pantera, Machine Head) really does it for me. I also like (for running) faster stuff like Lamb of God, some Machine Head songs, Slayer and Devil Driver.

/metal.

Running to One by Metallica is hard though...:wall:

Anything rock/metal. Gotta be tracks that are fast with a great beat to work out to...

Heavy stuff like Metallica with great drum pieces really get me going :)

I only have like three songs by DMX on my iPod though. :/

mmm i usually listen to children of bodom or lamb of god when working up always like metal when working out.

I usually listen to Nine Inch Nails. Songs like Wish, Mr. Self Destruct, March of the Pigs, Somewhat Damaged, We're In This together and No You Don't truly manage to get my adrenaline pumping.

For cardio i usualy like songs with words in them, like my humps or anyother popular song just to take my mind off the running. As the weight training begins i like trance or heavy bass songs it seems to add something. :anxious:
