Im wondering, is there anyway to splash using a mage spell every time? I have tried getting a friend wearing green d'hide, and me wearing full iron, but i still hit some of the time.

Try attack monsters with a higher magic defence such as wizards.

Try the Zamorak mage under the stairs of Varrock castle. It supposedly has high mage defense.

I can honestly tell you there is no possible way to hit a splash 100% of the time in F2P. Believe me, it's not worth spending thousandds of runes to find out whether I'm right or not, you can take my word for it.

I think u need a -65 bonus (um.... not really a bonus) to splash all the time. this can be done by wearing a full armor + green vambz + SoS boots. you could even wear an elemental staff.

You don't splash 100%, but the majority of the time you would.

Full helm, platebody, platelegs, kiteshield, green vambraces, elemental staff gives you -65

lol guys i own u all !!!!! i found a way to splash all fire mage att water air and eart att !!!! lol if u use fire strike and do it all tie , cost u 20 m to get 1 to 99 mage by splashing :P lol let see if some one find this i post the way to do it in 15-20 min :P

south of fally there is a small group of wizard .. if u use a ait strike on air wizard , u will never tougch him !!!! , wear best magic defense and u can stay there hour and hour maging him 0-0-0-0..

And it would cost much less if you dont splash, as you can get drops and more xp for doing damage.

I never splashed against skellys in varrok sewers, wearing full iron (armor metal doesn't matter), green vambs, a water staff and SoS boots.

If you go against count draynor (vampire under draynor manor) and you don't have a stake you can't kill him but you still get xp for damage. Much better than trying to splash.

Can you still do that after finishing the quest?

Well, if you want to get a high mage lvl at a low combat, I guess it's ok. But why? It's the same thing as being a lvl 3 with 10 hp.

why don't you want hp?

so he can have a strong atack, and that might be able to kill people fast but they can kill him faster...

 

10 is like 1-2 hits at any cblevel that really matters...but do wat u want and gl
