December 24, 200718 yr I am on a Christmas rampage. I am really trying to help out new players in Runescape (levels 3-10). Anyone have any ideas where my energies wil be best spent? Should I just camp at lumby will full sets of iron in ftp? Or are there better ways to help newbies? -Reck Politics,n. December 24, 200718 yr Many people there wont appreciate it, once you give them something they will just ask for more.

December 24, 200718 yr One thing I like to do is switch to Lunar spells, get a few fishing potions and cast Boost Potion Share next to people fishing. Then run away saying Merry Xmas when someone askes what happened. Or other crazy stuff like that. Geaux Tigers ! Congrats on a great year !
December 24, 200718 yr Author well, I just got back from my holiday dervish. I had three sets of full iron that I gave out. Person 1:Expressed genuine thanks, but didn't want tips on how to actualy earn money Person 2:Asked for more Person 3:Expressed genuine thanks, and wanted tips! I showed him falador mine and told him about mining iron. I stayed with him until he got like lvl 9 mining. Then I had to log out for like 2 minutes. When I came back he was gone... In sum, I think I'm done with my good deeds for a while... Politics,n. Strife of interests masquerading as a conflict of principles. -Ambrose BierceBarrow drops:Verac's Helm
December 24, 200718 yr Many people there wont appreciate it, once you give them something they will just ask for more. I know, it's really just sad. I did that too, and I didn't get any thanks, just greedy "that's all?"'s.
December 25, 200718 yr to be jolly falalalalala uhh most people r greedy and dont deserve christmas its the holiday to give from ur heart and if they dont get it then they dont deserve anything since some people just have... problems :( Im so high I belive i can fly
December 25, 200718 yr Give a man a fish and you feed him a day. Teach a man how to fish and you feed him a life-time. Human desire are never satisfied, thus I see no point giving stufts to newbs.
December 25, 200718 yr It doesn't matter ...If only 1 in 100 people appreciate it, then it is worth it. especially when you enjoy doing it. I ran around yesterday and the day before giving out gifts on world 99 to random people ...no armor or cash ...just toy soldiers that I made in my house ....they always reminded me of christmas soldiers, so I decided to give them out, and I got nothing but positive responses from people, but just doing it made me very happy. The other thing I would do is give free stuff to people looking for stuff at the banks ....1 law 1k...I would just give for free, although I do that most of the time anyway ...buying rope 1k...here's a free rope ...I think it's the little things ....and I applaud you for trying, maybe if more people tried there would be less of the "that's it?" attitude and more of a "pay it forward" attitude.
