Revenants will never equal players, simply because they can't "spec you out." The threat of being hit for over 60 damage in one turn by another player is what made players the "most dangerous game."

 

 

 

You can get somewhat of an idea what you'll get when you kill a player too.

JaGEx is evil enough to make revenants summon like a a kree arra or a kbd. And yea, I bet they will make level 138 Ancient Mage Revenants...

And I'm thinking that if revenants were to get stronger, possibly even summon, their rewards should be raised accordingly. I'm sick if wasting full inventories of monkfish and several potion doses just for 500 gp.

 

 

 

I agree. They should always drop either rune items or a dragon dagger and have the ability to drop multiple Mystic pieces. They aren't that common to see, so it is not unrealistic for them to drop items that a PKer would commonly wield.

Yes, they shouldn't be able to summon in F2P worlds though :S

 

 

 

I mean, no one in F2P can hit solid 20's and a few 30's like they do...

See the people complaining are runescape players, your some loser who started 3 weeks ago and started a jagex fan club, you have 2 million xp and no combat skills, you have no idea what we have lost, i have 50 million xp and 115 combat, the update affected me so im annoyed, learn to shut the hell up or one day you will walk into a hells angels bar and be all like so what if the cops are cracking down on bikies you cant change it get over it! then you will be shot in the face and buried in a shallow grave somewhere.

But anyways, revants equal players in every other way (not intelligence) so it would only be right to have lv 138 revants in the wild

I'll be pretty pissed off if Jagex make higher level revanants.

I think there should be higher level revenants, no one should be completely safe in the wilderness. However, the revenants probably won't use summoning. Since the latest development dairy mentioned the possible strain that summoning can put on the servers, I don't think any NPC will ever summon. To avoid making the fight with revenants too easy, they may be able to "summon block" the players, though.

I think the level of reverents will be raised but they will be given far better drops!

I have been playing for almost 2 years, all skills lvl 50+ and lvl 86 combat. I didnt really care about what we lost anyways and some stuff did annoy me, but guess what? I GOT OVER IT!!!

As it's now possible to be frozen and poisoned in F2P, even if it is by revenants, I wonder if these new higher level revenants come out, if they will be able to summon creatures to help them in F2P?

I hope they don't make more dangerous revenants...just means they will hit harder then :(
