I didn't really understand what to do if I don't have photoshop. i think you should organise it a little bit better, like maybe hide things into "step 1" and "step 2", etc... Oh, and have two different paths for if you have photoshop, and if you don't. 8/10, cause your guide didin't explain what to do if I don't have photoshop, only your comments after.Actually it did, it said you may still be able to upload directly from VirtualDub. How can you say GIMP ftw, pssssh, that doesn't have half as many features and tools as Adobe Photoshop CS Series, not to mention the brushes for the program are horrible and don't resize without having to fiddle with extra parts of the program. People these days and their *oh it's free* attitude... [/off-topic] I used your guide (parts of it) to aid me in making a 3D (so far only moving horizontal) graphic to add to my runescape project, Works well, I found both Camtasia and Hypercam did the job well. January 6, 200818 yr Thanks so much. i tried to make one thats about half a minute. when i saved it, somehow it saved it as a bitmap. but when i go to its properties it says its a gif. also it says its only 33 bytes, witch is nowhere near the normal size of the average gif. do you know what happened? Or should i start from scratch?

I have the clip i want recorded... I got the GIMP 2 or whatever... But how the hell do i string it all together... I'm at a loss... Step 1. Unzip VirtualDub using Winzip or Winrar to your desktop. Open the folder and double click Virtualdub, that's that opened. You've got your clip done? Good, then follow Latios's instructions as you now have VirtualDub open. Try and upload it at Imageshack. If it won't work, go into the GIMP and open your .GIF animation you made by following Latios's instructions in VirtualDub. Now go File > Save As. Find the little part that says "Select File Type (by extension). Click this and look through the list for "GIF Image". Select it and press Save (or Replace is what it might be). Don't be freaked in the next window. Click "Export", and then you will come to the next screen. Just click OK here. And that's it! Hopefully you should have a working animation ready to upload and show us! Hope that helps! :D [Tip.It Mod][Retired][Add your Steam name here!]
January 8, 200818 yr look what i did :D but it wasnt by ur guide :P i dont have any of those stuff except camtasia. what i did was that i recorded it with camtasia, simple as that, saved it as gif and uploaded in imageshack. I ate 620+ brains!! Whoa.
