You mine gun powder and ores from various underground stones. You make the casing for them with smithing. You make better gunpowder with Herblore. You Craft various other peices. You fletch it all together, and then you use em with ranged. Please tell me what you think.

Well, it seems that my idea is full of wholes. 1 or 2 planning flaws, and 900000000000000 shot into it. Nope, no room for grenades in a game with macheties, planes, cannons, and a watchtower with a ton of electronics on it. No room at all.

what planes? are you talking about gliders? because thats not mechanized at all and macheties are just used to cut your way through jungles how is that mechanized or new

Now for me to make the second non-noobish post in this whole topic. While I personally am against the idea, as it definantly would not go with the general RS theme, but the concept could be modified into some type of thrown weapon, though different from modern grenades. Like smithing the shell from iron and using herblore to make an explosive potion (much like those in Castle Wars), and using it with the shell to make an explosive which you can weild like a normal thrown weapon (though you couldn't get it back after you used it), but would deal heavy damage to multiple targets. Your idea doesn't fit with RS theme, but if modified, it could work.

anyways it wasnt just gunpowder it was rocket-launched missles and fireworks (no, im serious they made like really big fireworks with gunpowder in the tops and they blew up when they ran into things)

Remember the digsite quest? And the Fremmy trials? Both involved making some sort of explosive. I wouldn't want it to be called a grenade, but I could see this happening.

My opinion is that you could make explosive potions in herblore lvl 40 or something
