Hi i was wondering if there were any respected skills that i could get 99 in with 19 mil (or at least get them to a fairly high level)

so if anyone could please tell me some skills the method and how much it would cost i would appreciate it very much.

edit: by respectable 99 i mean something less common then a fletching or cooking cape.

Buy a small 108cosmics and a lava-staff

go to mage training area, and cast highest level enchant untill you get 99mage (107,896in the mta enchanting chamber for you)

I heared it's quite fast+it doesn't cost you too much. (or you could curse to 99, but that would turn you nuts; enchnanting would cost you 16 to 17mil)

another option is getting herblore closer to 82

Any of the combat stats are "respected" (99 str not as much because its more common) EVERYONE has respect for 99 range BTW. When I say everyone I really mean everyone. Even ppl that don't like range have respect for that cape.

RCin, great moneymaker (for now :? ) always respected

Slayer Cape well respected.

If you are talkin about buyable 99's with 19m there arn't any for that cheap but out of the whole bunch 99 prayer, herby, smithing and con are among the most repsected.

Prayer will cost upwards of 109m for me I'm at 66 now.

Con costs 100m+ too with oak planks nd 23m (I heard) with limestone.

Not sure of herby or smithing costs

Apparently, my signature was to big.

First off, tell me your favorite skills, RESPECT comes with people shooting for a goal, it isn't about the MOST RESPECTABLE cape. If you need a cape to have others respect you then you are doing it for the wrong reason. Pice a skill you love and get it to 99. I get no respect for 99 fletching, but guess what I respect how much effort into it and that's all that you should care about. Do something because you love it, not because you want to be respected.

thats a good point zapster.

but the reason i have made this thread is to look for something new to train as i havent really had much money to spend on skills in the past and most of the "respectable" capes usually require alot of work or some money. So i thought this would be a good way to get ideas to train to something.

Crafting is usually done to 99 with green d'hide bodies and it will make you take a loss. I know it is more expensive than 19m but I'm not sure of the price.

As for ranging to 99 from 85 costs 40-50m yeah I know that's a lot more than you have. But chin training isn't the only way to train ranged. Training at fire giants with a rune cbow and mith bolts should have you breaking even and looking at 20-35k exp an hour. Its not a lot but its the pinnacle for range exp/hour without chins.

I do agree with Zaps however, I know that I love defence so getting 99 defence made me very happy. Also whenever someone compliments me on the cape it makes me feel that much better because I know what all I went through to get it.

I wouldn't alch since you would be taking a loss no matter what you alch. I would have to say onyx enchant in Mage Traning Arena is the best way to go. Its cheap (with the price of cosmics) and its the same if not faster exp/hour than alching.

The only thing is that it requires more attention and thinking than alching.

If you were to try alching though I would look into how much green bodies or steel plates cost. Maybe if the alch value of green vamps is high enough you could craft and alch your way to 99 that way. Maybe make profit/break even if you craft your own natures.

There are some capes that require your work and not your money. They earn you more respect in my opinion.

Take agility for example. Free levelling, a wonderful emote, and nice skill to have high.

Thieving... doesnt cost a bit, instead it earns you money. Sadly a very bad emote, but still a nice cape to have. And if you do pyramid plunder, you will also get pharaos sceptre on the way, if lucky a few of them.

Hunter. Save your chinchompas for your own range training, and get 2 very nice capes.

Fishing. Sure its a fairly common cape, but its still a cape that require your own work.

Melee skill capes of course.

Please think before you ask a question. If you ask the right question, its much more likely you get the answer you are looking for :)

Personally, I think crafting would be a good cape. Not only is it respectable, its rare, and can be very handy! Making your own furys, glories, and more! Dont quote me, but, green dhide might be able to break even (so Iv heard).

I would say crafting as well.

I'm getting 99 range and magic first, however from the budgeted 99 skills I think crafting is the most respected and best looking.

Looking for someone to teach me how to Armadyl farm - pm me
