Uh, clearly you haven't cut yews for a long time, because there are about 100 less marcoers than there were, per tree.

 

If you went to lumby, before the update, you would see about 90 lvl3's running around oak to oak.

 

 

 

 

 

Also, i belive on jan 08, we're getting a new wildy 1v1.

Well, personally, I see much much less than I used to see. (Not saying I agree with the updates, but at least they were effective.)

Honestly, this is a pretty miserable excuse for a rant. Since the trade restriction I've seen a grand total of 0 autoers, in f2p. Don't say I'm not in the right place because I've been cutting yews since then, in places that used to be hotspots for macroers.

 

 

 

Before the update I'd see atleast 50 macroers walking from Draynor to Falador. I'd say they have been effectivly stopped, and the wilderness wasn't lost for nothing. If it was worth it or not is a completly different thing...

Maybe the bots were left turned on or something. Personally, I haven't seen any bots recently or at least clicked on one and actually noticed it. And the update wasn't created to stop bots. It was built to restrict the transfer of items.

Those bots are part of RWT websites that sell accounts.

 

 

 

Looks like those bots were getting their woodcutting up to sell them for a higher price.

I haven't seen any around lately either. Maybe we should have people post when they see a bot here and see if there are multiple sightings. It appears with what is posted now that they are few and far between.

be glad it was 6 not 60. macroers are starting to become a discontinued neeb. also yews are 410+ now. i was at ge today checking them. 8-)

Why would the number increase? The only possible reason to macro is

 

A) To get a make a high-leveled account with a lot of money to sell or...

 

B)Raise levels on their own account because they don't understand that the fun isn't in having the high levels, it's in working for them.

 

 

 

The people who auto their own accounts will most likely be caught, and the account selling market will dry up fast, as the consumers won't go back for more, like they did with buying gold. Oh and..

OH MY GOD! What the hell can the macroers do now?! Make money? NO! The update didn't stop bots it stopped REAL WORLD TRADERS!!! It regulates the transfer of items, not ban every bot! Get that through your dense head! Bots are a side effect of RWT.

 

They are USELESS now unless you want to level your own character and get banned!

^What he said. Jagex banned most gold farmer bots fairly quick. Other autoers, no matter their function, don't last any longer.

My brother in law botted for 5 years and isnt banned to this day, i have an account that a friend autoed to 99 mage and gave to me like 2 years ago, still isnt banned.

 

I know of several people in the top 1000 players list who bot.
