After reading that AOW guide on how to succed a 99 skill, I wanted to try to get 99 thieving again, but idk what should i do, I have these guides, which is should use??

Plunder all the way, its much quicker.

But it isnt boring 63-99 just PP???

I personally dont find it that boring, but its probably maybe a little more boring than thieveing a guard or palidin or bandit like 75,000 times. But, its much faster, so you wont have to be bored for as long.

I say stick with 99 attack goal TBH.

 

 

 

But if you must try for 99 thieving (again) then PP is the best way to get it. It will however be very boring.

Try looking to it in another way:

 

First buy a sceptre for 500k-ish (dunno exact price; but it saves you a lot of walking), also best to have finsihed contact! (and maybe also the "dealing with scarabees", sto even have use for the stone loot)

 

 

 

it takes about 2.5k trips to get 99thieve from 63 (I can be way off; but lets say 5k as minimum average, you'll get more xp the higher the level)

 

Now try figuring a timeline.

 

 

 

If you want to reach 99 in 3months:

 

that's 90days

 

that's 2500/90=27trips=about 2hours gameplay per day.

 

 

 

(anyone can check the math: kinda late here atm, and am feeling a bit sleepy)

Take advantage of these methods that give you really fast exp. You never know when JaGEx will nerf it (like Dorgeshuun c'bow or PC).

I need to make 2,5k trips to get 99 thats the same as boredom 125 hours of PP, seems a lot to stay just in a place, so i think i will try the other guide a bit just for safety of unboredom(this word exist??)...

So this would take like 12,5 days not 3 months

No the math goes like this. If u get 15k xp for most of the xp u need to get to 91 itll take u 450 or so trips. then if u get 20k xp per trip at 91(can be alot higher) then you need 325 trips from 91-99. Soo 775 trips/11per hour= 70.5 hrs which can easily be done in 3/4 weeks. Now right there is ur reason to to Pyramid Plunder.

I did plunder, and although it was a bit tedious, it is the fastest way, and I acheived it after a few months (not including a 2 month break i took in the middle :P )
