Even if I'm not playing Runescape, using TIF when on the computer is just automatic for me now. :P

I visit often, but not every day, and only post sometimes, so just shoot me. :roll:

The phrase says it all, the tip events and the letter to the editor are fun to read, the only other part of the forums that i know is the marketplace, which i don't check because i can sell/buy stuff faster waiting for the posts in runescape main page.

 

 

 

In a side note i spend more time with the tip page open that playing runescape, i love tip.it and the results in the pull only give information about the forum and not about the the site in the globality, the results don't indicate that the forum is bad it only indicates that the runescape main page forum is usually better.

Whenever I am go to play RuneScape, I open 3-5 tabs.

 

 

 

(Always) Tab 1- RuneScape

 

(Always) Tab 2- RuneScape Forums

 

(Always) Tab 3- Tip it forums

 

(Often) Tab 4- Tip it Website

 

(Seldomly) Tab 5- Tip it IRC (Java)

Tip It is my hands down favorite Runescape site. It goes up

 

in one tab (in Firefox) when ever Runescape goes up.

 

 

 

The forums are a slightly different matter. About 35 to 40%

 

of the posts (imo) are exactly what I am looking for.

 

 

 

About 10% are interesting or funny though maybe not exactly

 

helpful or perhaps on topic .

 

 

 

The other 50% are posts from people who do not read

 

the thread before posting. They also post rants,

 

foolish whining... nonsensical two word posts, etc.

 

and yes, those huge sigs!

 

It is a lot to wade through. My suggestion?

 

Make a plea for more moderators so those posts

 

can be removed or moved to somewhere they

 

might belong.

i only visit the forums when there are the main articles because when i've looked at the other discussions there usually isn't much I like to read. Either because people are asking things that make me say "with 100+ posts he still doesn't know that?" or they're things i just really don't care about. I do like the guides sometimes though.

I get on the forums maybe one or two times a week because I'm one of those people who has a real life that dominates all their time. When I do have spare time, I might go on Runescape or the Tip.It Forums, but those are just two activities out of the many things I can do in my free time.
