Could always be just me, but I dunno. It goes to 100 as soon as you take your first hit, so an evil chicken could have attacked you once to put it at 100. And yes, it only degrades in combat. mchainmail Posted January 14, 2008 Share Posted January 14, 2008 I think the monster actually has to "hit" you as well. When you have a magic spell, it could splash, OR it could hit a 0.
