Thanks Kill :)

I decided to open my blog again because once the summer rolls round after exams I'll be able to play a bit more. My new goals are on the front page, I'm going to (hopefully) do a Farming run everyday and Penguins every week as well. I spent this weeks points on Mining but I'm not sure what I'll permanently decide to get free xp in. Umm so yeah just post if you see something you like or have something to say, I'm hoping I can keep this blog up and running. Oh yeah, if you're interested in doing Dungeoneering with me, duoing or trioing would be cool. I have 35 Dungeoneering at the minute so send me a PM or post here if you're interested.

I got this from doing the latest quest:

Welcome back, I always enjoyed reading your all blogs, especially the period where you went self sufficient, goodluck with Dungeoneering, once you get to level 65 the fastest method is to "rush" floors 1 - 28/29, small maps, 5 man with a complexity of 6 only killing monsters in Guardian Rooms. Once you complete those floors do 30 - 35, large maps, 5 man, complexity 6, kill everything except monsters in dead ends (unless its an altar). You might know all this already but just saw post any advice if you have any on your front page ;)

RSOF is pretty good place to find teams too surprisingly, goodluck!

Thanks, I'll probably be able to look into doing larger teams in the summer when I get more time. Hopefully I can keep chipping away at Dungeoneering until then so I don't have to wait long until I can get the best xp. ;)

Been doing daily farming runs, will have 87 in a couple of days. I got two strange rocks when I was testing out the gem bag and decided to finish up the level (8 more till Gorgonite!):

I've been doing Barrows in between tree runs to get some money together for 90 Smithing, I figure it'll cost a lot (maybe 30m?) so I thought this would be the best way to do it for me. I'm using a method that is posted on Runescoop, basically I use a salamander and bank every five chests. It gets me through pretty quickly and isn't overly expensive so I'm hoping with a bit of luck I'll have the cash to start 90 Smithing by the end of my exams. I got a D Med and Karils Skirt to start me off, I'm hoping for a few Dh helms though ;)

I did the new quest, and claimed the rewards for the Easy and Med Ardougne Diary which I had forgotten about. I still need to win a CWars game for the Hard diary, meh...

Got these, Barrows is looking like a nice little earner at ~1m/hr.

I've sold a lot of items I don't need from my bank, mainly my cannon and cannonballs I was going to use for Slayer. I've worked out that if I bank, smelt and smith all the iron ore I get from 80 Mining, I can get 90 Smithing with about 45M and not have to play SC which is a huge bonus for me because I find the minigame quite tedious. I'll have to make about 18M now, so I'll keep barrowing on and off to get the money. :)

I'm undecided whether getting 90 Smithing is actually worth it. If I didn't buy it I could get 90 Herblore with the cash pile I have now by using MTK for cheap herbs and making up the rest with recover specs. If I did that I'd be left with about a 20M cash pile, which I could use on something like Prayer. Also considering getting back into TDs and trying for claws to use with recover specs for Slayer. Any thoughts?

Go TD now, let your cash pile grow then decide. :)

Anyways, good work keep it up! :D

That's not a bad idea tbh, although I'm really leaning towards not getting 90 Smithing now. I mean, in a 5:5 large dungeon the chances are there is going to be someone in my team with a high enough Smithing level anyway so it might be a waste of cash.

Should have 88 tomorrow I think, I bought supplies for 4k spec restores. After that it's just a matter of waiting for MTK herbs so I can make 1k extreme strength, attack and defence pots. I'll probably go to TDs like I said during half term and in between studying to try for some claws for slaying.
