Around 4 years ago, my friends told me about RuneScape. At this time it was RuneScape Classic, but RuneScape 2 came out within a few months of me starting to play RuneScape.

 

 

 

I remained a common nub for a long period of time. I would get ripped off easily, and scammed pretty easily too. I was only able to make around 1-30k a day.

 

 

 

But when I discovered how to merchant for myself, I was starting to make 100k-2M a day. I started merchanting yew logs, then I moved onto god armour.

 

 

 

At this point I had realized that merchanting rares gave more profit, but at a greater risk too. Their prices could drop or rise at any moment. I began with small rares, which includes things such as santas and masks. I was able to make 500k-3M a day this way.

 

 

 

Withing a few months I had bought my first party hat, a Purple Party Hat, for all my cash, which was 17.6M. Soon after that I also bought a Santa Hat, which was scammed off me by my "friend".

 

 

 

In the summer of 2006 I achieved 99 cooking.

 

 

 

Soon I began to merchant the most profitable but riskiest items of them all, party hats. During my first week while I was new at it, I only mad 0-3M a day. But once I gained experience, it would range anywhere from 1-15M per day.

 

 

 

On January 5, 2007, I was hacked out of all my valuable items: Christmas Cracker, Purple Party Hat, Green Party Hat, Santa Hat, 56.4M - 1.2B at the time. I quit for obvious reasons.

 

 

 

I returned on July 25, 2007, with a goal I was determined to achieve. I wanted to be able to wear a party hat once more. I sold everything in my bank, which gave me around 2M. I began to merchant with the 2M, making around 1-3M a day. After only 75 days, I had 159.7M. I spent it all on a Yellow Party Hat.

 

 

 

I had been a F2P throughout this entire experience. But in November, I was board so I wanted to get a month of members just for fun, such as Pest Control. I wanted to play fun mini-games and train my stats, except I did not want to train any member stats or complete any member quests. This would still allow me to be more on the F2P side. So I got my month of members and enjoyed it as well.

 

 

 

Three months later, in February, my account was locked. I went to see what was wrong, and I had a -29 day credit. Apparently the money paid for my members was refunded. Around two weeks later that amount turned to -90 days, because of "service charges". Not only did I now have to pay for three months of members to get myself unbanned, but I was only able to use PaybyCash.

 

 

 

I waited for a long time, and finally got myself unbanned on June 2, 2008 by paying for three months of members. I also got two days of members with it, and I decided that I wanted to train members skills and do quests. I trained a bit and was able to complete five easy member quests. I am a F2P again, and I hope to get members soon.

 

 

 

The reason my member stats are low is because I only had two days to train them. (I'm a F2P again)

hey man. i remember back in the days of ol' school merchanting, you used to stand in varrock bank world 1...and we were always showing our cash.

 

 

 

And then you came by and showed me the hat that you bought when yellow dropped like crazy b/c of no staking.

good you got your acct back. worldpay is so much better than pay by cash. same thing happened to me awhile ago. i'd go with worldpay if you have a choice.

 

 

 

it's interesting how you were f2p, once you get members it's so worth it that going back to f2p just isnt an option. you have an interesting story and i think you should keep the phat and you should be able to make good money so that selling it would be unnecessary. and good luck with hunting you've already got a good start on it i see.

 

 

 

i have to say i admire your determination and ability to actualise your goals. you have a very good account and mage lvl. hope you dont have any more problems with billing etc.

gratz on getting unbanned but i can not think of how it must feel to loose 1.2b like that.
