Zoov
So I obviously am getting up my smithing for the new quest, Rocking Out. I am currently level 64 and need to be at 69. I am looking for the fasted method possible with little or no money loss. I have 2.5m but I really, really don't want to spend it. F0TH
And? There is no question here tbh. If your looking for how to get to this level you will need to say how much you are willing to spend. Do you want a slow but profitable method such as steel bars or c balls. Or... Do you want a very fast, but money draining method?
Zoov
Whoops, sorry #-o . I'll change it. As it says above I would like a method with little drain that is still relatively fast. I have 2.5 million but I would rather not spend it. sparticus348
You could spend about 1.65 mil on iron bars, which would get you levels + iron plates which you can alc, or buy ~3,600 iron and 7,200 coal which would cost a total of ~950k, and smelt steel bars and smith steel pl8s. The cheapest way is, however, smelting steel bars wherein you actually would make a profit of ~1 mil. Break

You can make mith bars with only 2 coal, instead of 4, and smith them into bolts right there, so you can keep going. Sell the bolts and there you have it. ~ Proud Father ~ Proud (Currently Deployed) Army National Guardsmen ~ Proud Lakota ~ Retired Tip.It Crew ~
Zoov
The blast furnace sounds good but I don't want to learn a new minigame at the moment, I will probably try the steel method. It sounds the best so far because 1m is a lot to lose for me. Any other good ideas? Zoov
I am trying the blast furnace, it is great! You people are right! I just hope I can sell mith bolts. Should I put feathers on them? Foooman
You don't need to add feathers, Mithril Bolts (unf) is one of the top 100 traded items on the GE.

davidium
mithril bolts (unf) sell for quite a lot cause many ppl trying to get their fletching up will buy them...this is one of the fastest methods to get fletching up. well also stringing bows too...so go smith them! maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
