High School Graduation. CLASS OF 08!!

I would like to first say congratulations to the class of 2008! My High School graduation was tonight and it was awsome. We started the week with a slew of pranks, we pulled the fire alarm for a week straight 3 times a day, using shirts to cover the ink and a friends truck to conveniently switch clothes. We ran around school with water guns on the last day and terrorized everyone. At the actual ceremony the administrators were pretty much like 'no anything' but we ended that. All together the class brought 110 beach balls, 20 air horns, 100 confetti poppers, Sponge bob beach balls, Looney toons beach balls, atleast 100 bubble wands, water ballons and water pistols all conveniently stashed away inside of our robes and clothes. Every time an administrator would confiscate something, 5 more from another part of the ceremony would go flying or something would go off and to top it off at the beginning when they announced us we sat down and stood back up and the whole class stood up and sung the flintstones song. The only thing the administrators allowed was us to play the song 'Brush Your Shoulders Off' by Jay-Z because our Valedictorians initials are J-Z overall graduation was awsome, so to all the graduating seniors of 08 congratulations! I'm returning home from a string of parties now, 10 winning games of pong in a row. Going to go to bed now wake up and then theres 5 parties tomorrow.

So to everyone graduating, or those who have already graduated share your stories of mischief, fun, and laughter.

Congrats!

I've been thinking about making a thread similar to this one. My graduation was June 4. My twin sister was Valedictorian. I was at best number 150 in the class (of ~370), so I was a bit of a letdown after all of Sarah's accomplishments. She had cords and sashes and everything. I had one medal.

It's funny. As I was going to the podium to shake the superintendent's hand, he congratulated me on my accomplishments and said I gave a great speech. So he thought I was my SISTER, and that was pretty dumb seeing as he's met us several times before. But at least I got some form of congratulations. Sarah was right behind me and all he said to her was "I didn't know you had a twin!"

-.- Anyways, it was amazing. I'm go glad high school is OVER. The grad party was great, too. Here's a few pictures:

I don't have set plans for life yet. I'll probably be going to the community college for a semester or a year and then transfer. Major in English (CW) with a poli sci minor, and then go to law school.

Congrats to the other 2008 grads! :)

Wow. That is one really obnoxious class you've got there.

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Yup.. ;)

My graduation's June 27, but last night was Class Night, which is really what everyone looks forward to lol. Wednesday we did our senior prank, which was pretty kick [wagon] because like 3 groups did 3 different things. I'll edit this later, have to go now.

Not gonna be graduating for 4 years, but this year's senior prank was absotely brilliant. A guy brought 300 crickets to school in a box armed with only a spear, a shield, and their abilities (jk) and set them loose in the halls. Everyone was told to remain in their classes while the massive custodian army came in with vacuums and sucked them all away. Bad part is that the guy who set them loose left the box in the halls and his address was on it

Wow, your graduation sounds alot like my sisters was, which was earlier this week. There were beach balls everywhere, and numerous confetti blasters. Ah, beach balls flying amoung them while the speech the principle gave about them being the best class yet was priceless. It was definitely a sight to see.

Yeah, I don't have a cool signature, so the MSSW3 sig will have to do....

how old are you Americans when you finish high school?

technically I finish on monday afternoon, but I've still got another 2 years at the same school afterwards. And I've still got to go back in for a day in July to attend a speech day for various formalities.

17-19 depending on when you started school.

wut? you can start school at different ages?

Yes, sort of. It can also depend on when your birthday is. For example, my birthday is November 7. So when I graduated last year in June, I was only 17 (while most of the people I knew were 18 or 19). However, I turned 18 later on that year.

Anyway, congrats to all of the people graduating this year. (The class of '07 owns you though).

Wow, I graduated today as well. It was actually kinda gloomy at first since we had our prom the night before (I went to sleep at sunrise :D ) but eventually with the mood and everything people started to relax and collectively rejoice at the fact that it's all finally over.

I myself will be going to an engineering school to focus on, well, engineering (and minor in economics). I'm looking forward to all of it with GREAT anticipation.

If you choose your beliefs/lifestyle simply based on what your parents want, then you are a weak minded individual and are not even worthy of calling yourself a person.

The average age to graduate is 18.

This is weird to think about but my friend Sarah who goes to ASU with me in my same graduating class just turned 18 about a week or two ago, meaning that depending on when she graduated she could of been 16.. :o
