What's the new crit system?

 

 

 

edit: I kind of read over it, still not entirely sure.

They reduced the base crit chance from 5% to 2%. So if you walk out of spawn theres a 2% youll get a crit. But they made it so doing 800 damage+ in about 20 seconds will give you a higher chance of crits(15%). So they made it more dependent on your performance than luck, which is awesome.

Ah I get it now. Yeah that's pretty awesome.

Love the update. I hate the sniper being able to use crosshairs though, it makes no scoping way to easy, which sucks if you're playing a sniper with good aim and you're a light class.

 

 

 

Natascha got a nice boost but no one seems to use it (good for me I guess). It makes my life as scout tougher, but in reality the only difference between it and sasha is that is you get penalized if the heavy catches you on the approach.

No scoping is pretty fun, not crazy good though. I need to try the medic crit gun + no scope though, apparently it's just like a goddamn railgun. :thumbup:

Sadly there are no Demoman, Engineer, Sniper, and Soldier Valentines.

New crosshairs are pretty useful for the sniper but since i barely play sniper anymore i'll stick with default.

There's this guy on a server me and knex play on who's goddamn unstoppable with the crosshairs. He hits you once you're basically screwed; close range he'll machete you, mid range he'll smg you or no scope you again, and long range he'll scope and headshot you as you run.

Man, no idea why it took me so long to start playing sniper more. I used to rock with sniper back in TFC, and I'm getting into it again.

meh most people have done it. I tried not to, but bonesaw 50 medics to death was really dumb. I got like 5 after a week so i cheated a bit :P. My brother got on one of those and tried to get the pyromancer achievement(1m fire damage). So now my most kills as pyro is 624. :lol:

I got Pyro Milestones 2 and 3 In 2 lives... So I think I screwed up my pyro record quite a bit.

Medic achievement servers messed up my stats. I have 90000-something heal points in one life, plus 171 points in one life as medic.

Had an epic game on steel today. We all just rushed the final point (E) as scout, and took it in about a minute or so. The enemy team only had 1 sentry there, most of them were at A :lol:.

I'm not sure if a lot of people will try playing scout more. Most will just run in a straight line towards the enemy, get blown into a billion pieces go "wow scout is [cabbage], back to pyro," then never touch him again xD

nice one, so you getting it for pc or console? because you dont really get the real game unless you get the pc version :P
