Every gun has a use. Not to mention camo and golden guns.

 

That's because those guns have had ~50 years of advancement behind them.

 

What purpose does the camo have? Not much, and golden does nothing except make you more obvious. :roll:

The Golden Guns serve the same purpose as achievements. And as homing beacons for enemy bullets.

 

 

 

And btw, how exactly do the guns feel plasticy? How is that even an adjective? I guess they do have the problem that when you fire a gun, you can't feel it, hopefully that will be addressed in CoD6, but really the WaW guns just make you feel like your fighting with a 20ft stick in a 4x5 room.

And Wild_goat said something about MG and SMG ruling this game, and I wanted to point out that Hardcore mode is basically a rifle's game, MGs and SMGs are disadvantaged in it.

 

 

 

Atleast in Australia and on the Wii SMG's own every mode.

3rkid, what weapon do you use in Hardcore? I've had some luck with the M1 Garand, but what do you use?

Cycling the bolt on a bolt action rifle in COD4 (especially the R700) feels much better than the bolt on any BA rifle in COD5.

I dont care if you do or dont reply or read Dizzle, but you must be a challenged kid if you assume I actually care what you have to say, and if you assume I defend CoD5. I KNOW CoD4 is better and I know Vale is always right when he flames CoD5. Take a joke, stfu, learn to read.

I got my hands on my friends CoD4 a while back today and my god it did. And ESPECIALLY the R700. He told me to use that one for some reason o.O

Using it in Slow Motion (using the cheat) is brilliant, I play Sins of The Father over and over again in Slow-Mo just to play with the R700.

Anyway, I dont know if I'll still play CoD5 after the Conduit comes out. I might, for a break and more realism, but I dont think many people will still play it then.

 

Though, the controls are different and whichever matches I'm changing the other one to.

M1 Garand is TERRIBLE for Hardcore, the only reason it's in my top 5 is because I get the sniper scope on it, then it's a fantastic weapon in hardcore. If you aren't sniping, SVT or Gewehr 43 both with telescopic sights or apertures are pretty good.

 

 

 

Of course carbine is the best, but I usually use it like twice before I prestige.

 

 

 

In Prestige news... I'm level 25 5th prestige, I was going to wait to prestige until this double xp weekend, but I can't stand not receiving xp. So as great at this badge is at 5th prestige, I will most likely prestige again like I always do when double xp is available.

I like the SVT over all rifles :) its my main set with telescopic sight! :D

 

 

 

There's no hate between me and SVT.

SVT is the worst of the Assault Rifles, can still beast with it if you know how though.

Hows it the worst? :( Carbine would be way ahead if it had better add-ons like, err, Sniper scope or tele sight (if it has tele sight im not prestiging again ever)

 

 

 

I find it to be strong and accurate while maintaining good fire rate, so it works well in Normal TDM (3-4 shots to kill I think) and better in Hardcore.

Really? Hmmm, thats strange. Seems I can use it without the scope and go positive, but the scope just gets in my way. Probably depends on the map, considering all I ever get is Makin #-o

I like it. I like it more than the stupid 4-star 0 prestige thing. And from what's happened since I prestiged I'd rather not do it again. Getting all weapons again.. Getting rifle addons, getting ba rifle addons.. eww.... :roll:

 

 

 

And yeah I dont find the use of prestiging unless it actually makes you look cooler. Most of the high prestigers on the wii are obvious smg users so tbh I dont want a reputation of "surprise im not crap" ruined by looking good before a game so people stay away :|

As I don't play Core often enough, your first suggestion wouldn't be too useful for me. I'm trying to get MP40 as 4th and eventually out of top 5 so second suggestion won't be happening, and I'll probably use third suggestion (just instead of Stopping Power it would be camo) because the BAR is a great gun in hardcore.

I was playing Hardcore war on Courtyard, I threw a grenade randomly in the general direction of the Archway flag, killed 1 person from direct impact, and then killed another 3 people from the explosion!
