Johannas
I think its time i start going for level 99 in a skill. ...I just can't decide. Cooking and firemaking are the capes i see most often, so i don't want to walk around looking purple or orange. I might consider cooking just to get my chosen cape trimmed. My rsn is "Johannas" so look me up on the hi scores to tell me what i should do. I was thinking maybe doing fishing and cooking together, or woodcutting and fletching. But i don't really like either of them. I want a skill cape that most people don't wear, so i look special \ What do you guys think i should do? Exp/hour and how much cash i should expect by doing it is appreciated. Thanks Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!

corbud
Do smithing, W00T!!! It will take ages, but once it's done it'll be worth it :) 1673rd person to 99 smithing! Monday, June 30th, 2008
Alex_Ewan_1
face it, hardly anyone can afford 99 smithing unless they use the cball method which would take so long they probably die of age before they get the 99! Goals achieved: lvl 99 Cooking, Fishing and Fletching.Surrey CC and Liverpool FC fan for life!
corbud
Your joking right? Think before you open your mouth, try getting 99 smithing once.....We will see how much of the goal of 99 you can afford, because I happen to know it takes loads of cash, and if your a member it is probably way easier, but try doing it as 100% f2p......then you can open ur big mouth....even if someone could afford it, it takes patience to finish it, that is why I suggested it.....if you check hiscores, clearly only 1600 people have 99 smithing..... 1673rd person to 99 smithing! D Jay99
Magic. A sort of fast xp rate (40-70k xp/hour for most methods), very useful and respected. Ideas: Alch (65-70k/hour) Onyx enchant at MTA (once you reach 87) (75k/hour) Fire wave aviansies/metal dragons (55-60k/hour) String amulets (130k/hour but about 5 gp/xp). You can also go for 99 while going for 99 crafting too. It's about 150k alchs to 99 for you, that would get you 99 crafting too (making ruby bracelets). If you craft runes yourself, you'll break even, so you will get 1m runecrafting xp too (making double cosmics, which you can sell and then buy natures). This is of course only an option if you want to alch.
shendriks
Try 99 hunter.... \ Will be a bit slow, but when you sell that 40k red chinchompa's you've catched ,for 900 per, you will be rich
Johannas
My hunter is only level 20 : -Haven't really looked into it properly yet. Magic is a good suggestion, thank you for that. Are there any monsters where it's possible to break even apart from aviansies or metal dragons? Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
123_x_pac
Looking at your levels, the skills I would go with are: Crafting Strength Range Magic Fishing Herblore Seeing as those are skills you've gotten really high, try one of those and see which one you like. IeatWindex
Do not class Woodcutting an easy 99, it is not. It is actually a skill that takes time. Dude, get 99 WC, its not that easy but you will have a nice profit.

Johannas
Thanks but mining is my most hated skill :( Thank you to tripsis for an awesome sig!
hellbellz
If you can't decide what 99 skill you want to achieve, I don't think you should even go for one. If you really want a 99, get cooking, a very simple skill.
D Jay99
Or you can get another goal, like all 70+. I chose that as my goal instead of a 99, and I'm quite happy with my account now. Able to do a lot of things in all skills > one skill maxed.
