Monday Poll: A Shift of Resources

Featured Replies

This week, we're asking you about where you would like Jagex to focus more of their resources on. Do you want more to the game? Them to clean up and update the game? Something else? Discuss here! (Thank you to truffoo for suggesting this poll topic!)

im 50 50 on new content and old. :anxious:

update excisting content for sure.

There are enough things that can be improved. Once those are done they can start making new stuff.

I think that there are plenty of skills for now and that they should update some of the older skills, but keep the new quests coming.

i agree with him ,new quests means additions to new skills most of the time

^Why...?

Since the CS team and Game teams are different, I'd think they should spend some time updating Customer Support and the website, while having the programmers working on updating older content. Really, new stuff is nice, but older stuff could use a bit of improvement to keep up with it.

Mmhhh, this is a wierd question. I think they are already doing rather well at balancing everything... Maybe updating some of the older stuff might be nice though >.>.

I would like to see them update older content. Personally i'd like to see more barrows armor. Preferably rarer than the existing armor. Maybe an immunity to slayer dart. <.<

Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color]

I agree, 'updates' doesn't mean always *adding* new stuff.

I want them to add some new stuff to older skills, or improve them (not necessarily make them easier).

And alkaline stop spamming, you already made a topic lock because of your spam reactions...

i dont really like how new content heaped skills and quests together. With new quests comes additions and updates to old skills normally, and besides im bored without quests :(

I choose the rule breaker option because I think that no matter how good a game is, if it is full of idiots he won't be any good to play. A game with a lot of rule breakers who spoil the game for you is just as bad as a bad game. I would gladly wait a few months without any major updates for Jagex to get rid of all the rule breakers in the game and people who abuse everyone else.

i need more achievment diaries. they put out 2, the gloves, and the varrok armor i use every day. its said more comming soon, but its been a while. ive heard of no attemps being made to update this feature.

I would say update old content after they get done with this whole graphics update.

I chose other, because I find that a mix of new and old is needed; I can't choose just one. Like what Ximigda said,

Thanks to Killerwat for the sig!

I really don't care about graphics: it's RuneScape, which has never been renowned for its graphics and yet has been popular nonetheless. I would love to see an updated bank interface with search and organization and such, but I chose updating old content in general because I like new ways to train skills and also new skills.

Definitely update old...

Some skills and areas need work over.

And its obious that new quests are required to "unlock" the new features. Just like they did with "Smoking kills" and the slayer skill lately... =D>

improve already existing content

An update to older content would be much appreciated. Mining could really use a boost..

EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.

New content, any online game has to be moving ahead and keep being updated. Sure graphics are nice and fixing old problems is good, but unless they are yelling to be fixed, focus on newer stuff.

It has to be updates to old content. There are many things which Jagex could make a lot better: Castle Wars, Fishing Trawler free-loaders, Clan Wars, etc. Jagex really need to take the focus away from new things that will excite newer useres, and turn it to updating older content, to keep them there.
