I then decided to work on my goal of 99 magic as my first 99

Got lucky on a clan arma trip yesterday (my 7th chest plate)

 

 

 

 

I'm getting 99 magic by stringing gold ammies with lunar magic. I get asked many times a day about the spell I'm casting. I started making up stories with a clan mate that I was keeping company while he is going for 99 cooking (Rogue's Den bank). Unfortunately, I was reported for one of my stories and muted for 14 days for breaking rule 9; encouraging others to break rules.

The appeal:

 

I was casting the spell "string jewellery." Not many people use it so I often have to explain what the spell is that I am casting. I get asked the question many times a day and I was a little bored so I made up a story. I didn't think someone would actually believe I was "hacking the grand exchange" to get an orange partyhat. You cannot use a RS skill to hack and you cannot hack RS. Sorry for this

 

 

 

The instant reply from Jagex after the appeal:

 

You have apologised for this offence and said the offence will not occur again.

 

 

 

While we encourage such apologies, we are afraid that the offence still stands.

 

 

 

Gf Jagex. Next time give the mute to someone who deserves it. Not for some petty joke like this.

I saw the pictures and I was like, what could make this end on a bad note? Maybe a death or something...but Jagex has failed once again.

 

That's why I never say stuff like that in game, and mostly talk in IRC.

Shame about the mute, Jagex can be [bleep]ing idiots, I got a 3 day mute before for saying "I'm haxing my way to 99 Summoning. How the hell is that encouraging others to break rules? :roll:

 

 

 

Being Jagex as well I appealed under "customer support mistake" option, and I got a auto response saying they haven conclusive evidence I was in full control of the account, Jagex certainly sure know how to treat their customers rightly :roll:

One thing i've known, NEVER apologise. Say you think they've made a mistake. ALWAYS works. I apologized when I had said "I'm a jagex mod" (I was killing myself with zammy brews) and right after I said "Jk" got muted for 7 days. Appealed, got the same response.

Shame about getting muted.

You can only buy 100 from the GE every 4 hours. I had other friends sell some and I had a thread on the forums. Some guy traded me and had 28k of them to sell. Apparently, they are good exp for f2p crafters

You would think a multi-million dollar company would have better customer support than that. It is all automated messages that tag certain words for a response. Jagex reminds me of Dell or HP that outsource their customer support to some random people in India.
