Lol, you could easily get both with 130 mil if you kill your own dragon bones. But i choose prayer between the two, herblore just isn't my thing, expensive and the higher level herbs you have to either grow or collect for a very long time.

Go for prayer. I am pretty sure you will not use all of your money if you use the gilded altar, too tired to make the exact calculations though.

It depends if you want a more practical 99 or a rarer one.

 

 

 

Prayer would be the more practical choice, making combat easier; 99 is great for boss monsters. The issue with herblore is that you can just request assistance off someone who already has the level.

 

 

 

If, however, you want a nice 99 that not as many have, go for herblore.

 

 

 

I'd go for prayer, personally. But each to their own. :P

You should get prayer, because 99 herblore is just a fancy cape...all the possible applications of the skill end at 85, so you're essentially wasting millions on 10m exp for no benefit. Since you had to ask, you obviously aren't in love with the skill enough to train it for its own sake, so go with the useful one.

Get 85 herb and spend the rest of your money on 99 pray.

70-99 pray you ahve about 20m left then get 81 herb to make brews trust me 99 pray owns Ive gottin through all these eyars of runescape without having over 70 herb but pray helps soooo much in boss fightings/bh to make even more money

Uh? According to Tip.It's calculator, it's 48,797 dragon bones from 70 prayer, using the gilded altar. The current dragon bones price is 2,329. That makes 113,648,213 gp for 99 prayer.

 

 

 

Anyway, I'd go for prayer as well. 99 prayer has a very real use, and to get 99 herblore fast, simply buying the herbs, just to get a 99... It's a waste of time and money. I don't see much use in it if you don't farm as well.

Pretty much as its hard to make money making pots unless your get own herbs/seconds but 81would be useful if you monster hunt as you cna make your own pots if no friends ae on or ge wont sell
