- Link to describe what the game is for those who may not know.

I don't own the game, but I've played it. It's interesting, but not my kind of thing. Though if I had the opportunity I'd buy it/play it.

Its pretty awesome I'm about to rerun it through as the Adept with an assault rifle (got the AR achievement :D)

Should be fun :)

But yea great game :D

I'm a Vanguard. What's funny is that it kinda reminds me of Too Human (I played the demo before I got Mass Effect), but ME is better even though it's a lot older

I went in first with the Infiltrator actually, but the sniper pissed me off  So I just said screw it and went with the Vanguard. Shotgun is awesome

Yeah, I tried the infiltrator when I first started too, but it was too hard. The majority of your encounters are too close to be able to use the sniper rifle decently, so as a infiltrator, all you're left with is a pistol. I got frustrated not far into it and made a new character as a Soldier.. who can use a sniper, but every other gun too.

I honestly wish I could say it's a lot of fun, unfortunately after buying it and installing it on my PC it would say "mass effect has stopped working". After fixing that, I got some main exception in (insert code here). After solving that I FINALLY got the game to work, problem now is that the background is all fuzzy and the drivers crash every few seconds during gameplay.

After I get my new computer I'll give it a try and then I'll tell you what I think of it, but from the instruction manual it looked good. I liked the idea of different classes and dialog choices. Looks like I'm also making the mistake of going with the infiltrator though so I'll change that.

I was gonna buy the PC version because it was cheaper, but then I heard about the bugs in there so I just got it for the 360

If the sniper wasn't so unstable, it would be really awesome. I'm at the mine mission thing to save that alien's daughter and it would've been so useful to snipe out all those freaks from far away

really? I played through as an infiltrator and found no problems getting through the game with the pistol and sniper, as long as you are quick to level your sniper skills, and add stability upgrades to the gun, it leaves no problems was able to use the sniper rifle the majority of the game

I've played through it twice with the same Character..he's level 54 now, and a Shock Trooper. I've got the Pistol, AR, and Shotgun achievements...I love it. It's one of the best games I've ever played for sure. I'm actually going to start a third playthrough soon to level sniper skill and get the Extreme Power Gamer achievement. :ugeek: :D

No, it's limited.

I beat the game twice, once as an engineer and another time as... well I don't remember. It was a few months after the game was released. I haven't played it since, I should probably pick it up and play again...

I'm a female vanguard atm. I'm focusing on the "paragon" to stay in character. I'm gonna go through it at least one more with a male Sentinel with focus on renegade

The game's storyline is pretty awesome. Trying to explore all the planets can be a bit boring though. Online would have had great potential if it was considered. I kind of wanted to be able to play with some squad members that actually did something.

There's no such thing as regret. A regret means you are unhappy with the person you are now,

and if you're unhappy with the person you are, you change yourself. That

regret will no longer be a regret, because it will help to form the new,

better you. So really, a regret isn't a regret.

It's experience.

I was going to focus on being more of a renegade on my second character, but I realized that to be a renegade, you have to say immature, stupid things. And that as a renegade, shephard just sounds like a fool.

Without even thinking of it, my second time playthough was supposed to be Renegade, but then my answers in the early stages were Paragon, so I stuck with it again #-o

Renegade is so unhelpful.
