Yeah, it is pretty irritating. I hate when I'm training and someone just comes and sets up a cannon. Some of us have the courtesy to change worlds, but some people don't and we just have to deal with that. Besides, they paid for the cannon and cannonballs as a combat advantage, so they are pretty justified in dominating us non-cannoners.

 

 

 

But I still agree with you, it's not a great feeling to be on the short end of the stick.

I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be ranting about how fire giants hit him for 30s. That might have been a misunderstanding, though.

Cannons can be annoying, but it's true, the owner payed for it and should be able to use it however they want.

he must have an amazing ranging level, if it hits constant 30s. he must have an amazing hacking level too, because last I checked you cant hit other players with a cannon.

Tbh it just makes me feel better cos the Client I got (off Rs site :P) goes white if a I log off, so I get annoyed. Especially if they come in, say hi and set up a cannon...Its really annoying.

 

(I mean, they say hi just to piss you off more.)

 

Prolly shoulda wrote that better, but I had to go to bed, I mean if they offered to switch worlds themselves, or I walked in on them, I'd definately switch myself, but just walking in and setting up a cannon....I feel thats pretty low.

I don't like cannons , but the person who uses it ,paid for it and is allowed to use it. Runescape is just a game , why worry about getting a little bit less xp. Just play it because you like it .

Ahh, yes, cannons. There's nothing unfair about them really. The player pays the cash and the cannonballs for a loss of experience (2xp/hp instead of 4), so it is balanced enough. But as with so many things in RS, it's all about common courtesy.

 

 

 

I own a cannon myself, and even I can get thoroughly annoyed by people who set up a cannon where I am training (without my cannon, obviously). Why do they have to be so rude about it? When I cannon, I hop to find an empty world and if it can't be found, I apologise and explain before I set it up. I have never been flamed in RS for setting up my cannon this way. Not once.

When he says that the cannon doesn't apply to multicombat system he probably means someone attacking multiple monsters using a cannon in a single-combat area. Yes, this is possible, just make sure none of the monsters can touch you and your cannon will shoot them all.

same here, really hate it when i get reduced slayer exp because of someone using cannon
