Yeah, cannons can be a pain. But what really grinds my gears is people who post illegible gibberish with ambiguous meanings (the most "cheap" thing ever - you mean the slang, or are you making a completely uninformed statement about cannons?).

You speak rubbish! Putting it bluntly, you obviously have problems with language. Even though it is by no means perfectly written, use your common sense, and the thread title to understand what he is saying. I have multiple issues with your reply:-

 

 

 

1) He never mentioned hitting players!

 

2) Making 600k in 10 minutes? Especially with your obvious lack of intelligence, i severely doubt you make that money.

 

3) If someone causes more damage they get the drop? What is there not to get? He loses the loot to the cannon!

I do tend to agree with you but theres always common courtesy.

 

 

 

For example, I will always world hop 5 times to try and find an empty world. If there are none, and its peak times then I go back to the least crowded world and set up my cannon.

 

 

 

At the end of the day I pay to play the game, not to world hop until I find a free spot. If I can afford a cannon, then I will use it and if it affects other users then too bad. It's a game.

 

 

 

Most cannon users won't stay in a spot if another cannon is there, so if you don't like people stealing your spot. Get a cannon yourself.

You have a couple solutions that can be applied to this case:

 

1- Switch world (wisest)

 

2- call him names, it"s noobish and childish, but whatever floats your boat...(foolest)

 

3- Get yourself a cannon (most expensive)

 

4- Write a badly written rant on tip.it (most useless)

Cannon = power. The one who owns the cannon, owns the training spot, more or less. Therefore, I usually set up my cannon in a crowded place and wait till everyone hops. Courtesy? No sorry. If you don't like it, cannon back. When someone else sets up a cannon I don't complain. I accept it and hop.

It would be easier for you to find a world without a cannon than someone with a cannon to find a world without any people. It is a part of the game that people can and will use, just accept it and try to find ways of it not being a nuisance (like hopping).

Buy a cannon and only a few cannonballs. Usually the setting up of a cannon will deter other cannoners who appear.

I don't think the majority of high levels do that. Cannoning 40%+ of their tasks would be okay if they had 40%+ of daganoths and kalphites tasks. I think you're confusing 4-5 high levels with most high levels.

 

I also agree that cannoning in non-multi areas is kinda lame, but since it's not against the rule... nothing you can do except trying to steal their victim in the time the cannon does a complete turn.

Fact is a lot of people just use cannons to bully people out of spots, i don't think cannons should be allowed in single combat zones, i mean the other day some tool set up a cannon at green dragons in 13 wild, last year this wouldnt have been a problem id have 3 hit him and banked his cannonballs, now with the new ridiculous wild i have to switch worlds and hope theres not a noob on the next one doing the same thing.
