August 1, 200817 yr I've asked numerous people in-game but all of their answers don't seem to compare very well so I wanted to hear from the forum's point of view. 70-99 Woodcutting (approx. 180K Willows) what kind of time frame can I expect for completion if I do roughly 5 hours/day? I know the estimate won't be exact but I'd like to know what I must consider. I will be using Dragon Axe (which I cannot wield so -1 inventory slot) and I will be in Barbarian Outpost.
August 1, 200817 yr 13,034,431 exp for 99 -737,627 exp for 70 That equals 12,296,804 exp. Willows are about 35k exp per hour and that means.. 351.337257 hours. His "estimate" isn't estimate, it's exactly how much it would take you if willows are 35k exp/hr, if you want correct time you just need to record how much experience you get in 1 hour and do the math.

August 2, 200817 yr Willows sure as heck had better be more than that, because 45k/hr was what I was getting at eucalyptus logs while making a 24m profit. They're probably more like 60k exp/hr. I don't recommend chopping willows to 99, because teaks can get you there about 30 hours faster, and the small profit of willows is not nearly enough to make up that gap. Teaks are gonna be something like 65-75k exp/hr, so for 12.2m experience it should take somewhere in the range of 165-190 hours. Read my blog | Follow me on Twitter | Track my XP

August 2, 200817 yr where do you cut teaks? Tai Bwo Wannai, but you need trading sticks. You can also find them in some far off area like Khazari Jungle, Ape Atoll and Uzer. Castle Wars area and Mos Le' Harmless also have some.

What level should I begin Teaks? and I assume my only true option is to cut-and-drop unless you know a banking method?
August 2, 200817 yr it takes 260 trading sticks to bank your teaks assuming you have 26 teak logs then another 100 to get into the area again trading sticks are only 6gp ea though

Teaks start being the fastest experience right at 35 as soon as you can chop them. And yeah you cut and drop. It's your decision which tree seeds you want to keep from your nests. It's possible to get up to 62k xp an hour using beast of burden. Using only the dragon axe you're looking around 50k-55k an hour. So... 50k x 5 hours = 250k a day 7 days x 250k xp = 1,750,000 xp a week So you're looking around 7 weeks to get up to 99 wc. Disregard females. Acquire currency.
August 2, 200817 yr You can also Cut & Firemake the teaks, slower, but saves a lot of time (and MONEY!) if also going for 99 FM. Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.

Because there are SO many factors that can come into play. You could go afk sometimes, you might have to use the bathroom or get hungry. Anything could come up, including randoms. Either way, be sure to pay attention to how much you get an hour to correctly determine the right numbers you're looking at. :)
August 3, 200817 yr If ur looking for another alternative, yews at 75 are good for pure profit or for getting fletching, thats what my friend did this summer and it took him 2 months playin 5ish hours a day (more as he neared 99 though) Zombie: Eat Flesh
