attk vs str

It depends on what you want. Would you rather hit nearly every time for decent damage, or hit fairly often for great damage? Personally, I would pick 99 attack over 99 strength...

This question is as old as runescape. You'll have to ask Jagex to find the true answer.

 

 

 

In my opinion it would be atack though. I think it might depend alot on the defence of whatever you're fighting.

you could get like 96 in each for the same amount of experience. i'd go 96 attack and 96 str.

heres the thing though, eventually i will get another level and that will raise my combat.... which will mess everything up....

I would definately choose Attack over Strength. Attack is also easier to train if you can't afford a godsword/sara sword. (Whip ftw)

Getting both to 99 is always the best (Everythign to 99 is the ultimate goal in runescape after all) but its your choice. I perfer attack as its awsome to never miss and have a decent str to hit good enough and higher with pots. Plus the cape is cooler. Good luck with your goals none the less :P

id go with 99 str with 90 atk

 

 

 

those extra 5 lvls with help a lot but also you dont have to worry about training strength anymore

Definitely attack. The guys above me are right, you need attack levels to wield stuff moreso than you need strength levels. Plus it's always nice to hit more than to just hit someone with a huge number once or twice. Stick with the attack and you'll have fun with it. :)

You could grind for weeks for a few att levels and hit lower, or you could grind for weeks for a few str levels and hit less often. Or you could get them equal, save yourself some time, and have a nice balance of accuracy and power.

no, attack affects how offen you hit, defence affectds how little you get hit, str affects the damge..

if this is for some sort of pure that you will be using in BH... I would suggest str.

 

 

 

As much as I hate str, many more str pures have had success than attack pures. At least from most of the "famous" pkers. 99 str and 90 att would do you good.

WEll, if you click on top 5 hp characters..... the order is as follows

 

1. #1 def char. --> Miles15

 

2. #2 Attk char.--> Deka_Vu_Xlll

 

3. #1 Str Char. --> Fir3g0d

 

4. #1 Range char. --> Entrix_E_B

 

5. A person W/104m exp in each attk/str and def -->Evil_God_666

 

 

 

So this might have something to do with the best combat skill.

I'm at 86 attack and 99 strength, so I'm practically your example.

 

 

 

I would choose getting both to 90.
