TMoHS S2 is getting good! Though I have one question. If Haruhi says that Koizumi, Yuki, and Mikuru aren't an esper, alien, and time traveler wouldn't that make them normal people?

I don't "like" it because of the art lol, oldish looking animes/manga look weird to me.

The new episodes are over now :\, most likely unless KyoAni surprises us again. Can't answer your question really since I'd probably be wrong but I'm thinking she just doesn't believe that they really existed in the first place so she just doesn't believe what Kyon's saying either?

But it's those very "oldish looking animes/manga" that have that epic nostalgia factor which is why I prefer classics (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Fist of the North Star, G Gundam, Ranma 1/2, etc.) as compared to today's new anime.

Those older anime never really appealed to me at all. I watched some of the Akira movie and I just didn't get it. Too deep for someone who likes watching little girls sit around a table and talk, I guess.

 

I've been watching BECK and Hayate no Gotoku; actually, BECK is on-hold as of now. I got really into it for a while, but I can't say I've been in the mood for it recently - far too much angst and drama. Hayate no Gotoku is pretty great though, especially this scene:

As for shows from this season, I'm going to take a look at Seitokai no Ichizon, Nyan Koi! and Seiken no Blacksmith. I've heard... mixed responses about all of them.

Akira is hardly worse than GitS. It is a serious mind[bleep] at times though, but I enjoyed it overall.

letter bee is awesome. It also has a name made of words which sound like other words when said quickly. good times.

Toki is pretty manly for a healer type. He can heal people by gently pressing power points on a sick person's body (Which makes Toki sorta Jesus-like). Plus he has the ability to kill his enemies without having them feel any kind of pain. This type of compassionate man would have easily been the successor to the Hokuto Shinken style.

Ah, it could be compared to some scenes out of Animatrix, no? Animatrix was a major mindrape. Thoroughly enjoyed the different short films.

Some scenes are pretty [bleep]ed up, yeah. Mainly near the ending, and you will be thinking "What is going on?" at times.

Just finished watching Elfen lied today. I knew about it for awhile but never sat down to watch it. Well it wasn't the death note keep me on the edge of my seat suspense (which death note did a good job at.) It kept me interested. It was an average anime though.

Either I'm easily entertained or Seitokai no Ichizon was actually pretty good. I got all the references though, which probably means I'm going to be lonely for life. ;~; I have Nyan Koi! and Blacksmith still awaiting watching.

Well I decided to try my luck at making an AMV. I think it turned out pretty good, but of course I won't know from only my biased opinion So if you guys have the time I hope you'll check it out! It'd also be nice to receive some constructive criticism on what I did wrong, and what I can do to improve (although I doubt I'll make another AMV for a WHIILEEE ).

probably. I was getting slightly depressed with how easily I was getting them all.

In my defense, they're ones that anyone whose been watching anime for a couple of years or so should know.

 

Also, Nyan koi!; what the HELL. I can't work out whether it's abysmally stupid or utter genius, which more than likely means it's abysmally stupid. It's funny for all the wrong reasons.

Really enjoyed Seitokai no Ichizon, super moe characters and a laid back perverted otaku protagonist for once. Think this and Fairy Tail are the only animes I'll watch this season (until FT starts getting boring like the manga) and catch up with old animes.

Sasameki Koto ep 1 is out but I can't watch it until tomorrow fjsjdhksjhk. I hope it's good, Aoi Hana got a bit boring after a while so I hope it doesn't turn out like that for me. This has more humor though so high hopes!

I haven't watched a lot of animes yet so majority of the protagonists piss me off especially in romance/harem stuff. And the new complaint for the Haruhi movie is that between the time it airs in theaters to DVD, people are gonna be spoiled/tortured?.../etc. People just can't be happy. I'm just glad they're continuing with it.

Hayate the Combat Butler just gets funnier and funnier. I'm positively howling by the end of each episode.

You should've seen me when I watched Yu Yu Hakusho. I watched all episodes within 2 weeks. I never really got into it when it was on T.V. but I watched it on youtube years later and loved it.
