Star.
I stopped reading JoJo after a couple of chapters. There is way too much to read  CANAAN is awesome! I love it but I'm unhappy that I only discovered this recently :( I seriously love it Mino and Maria make a funny duo and Alphard and Canaan are so badass but Yun-Yun is my favourite character. I think this is the only anime this season that I seriously can't wait for an update for. The only other time I really craved an update for was Toradora. My sister is into CANAAN too so I tried to get her into other stuff. We just randomly clicked different series. She couldn't get past the first three minutes of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni because their heads annoyed her  She disregarded any slice of life animes ¬__¬ she wanted action and stuff. She does want to watch the second episode of Elfen Lied after I showed her the first one. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
Jaffy1
Death Note. I fond it most amusing, especially in the first season. Hellsing, too bad it was so short. Tip.It Website Crew Leader[hide=Quotes]I love it how Jafje comes outa nowhere and answers my questionsHehe now we know what real life does...drugs, drugs, more drugs. bongo_man
Oh man, I just finished DBZ (I refuse to watch GT) and moved on to Rurouni Kenshin. I was hooked from the very first episode (I love anything to do with swordsmanship, so I guess that was a factor)! On episode 20 right now out of an alleged 95, but I keep seeing different numbers but I'll just keep watching until I reach a dead end lol. I should finish Rurouni Kenshin in about a month or so, I'm loving anime so much right now :D So does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should watch next? I heard Yu Yu Hakusho was a favourite, but I'm open to all suggestions. I heard Yu Yu Hakusho was a favourite, but I'm open to all suggestions. If you're looking for action/shounen anime, I recommend (in no particular order): *Fullmetal Alchemist *Samurai Champloo *Trinity Blood *Baccano! *Claymore I suggest watching Samurai Champloo, in particular, since you've said you enjoy swordsmanship. Also, you can't go wrong with YuYu Hakusho, even if it is a bit old. :) Hokuto no Ken (AKA: The Fist of the North Star) and the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga are both very manly.I've never understood the appeal of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, to be honest; it just seems way too "over-the-top" for me. I gave the manga a fair chance (in my opinion), but after chapter 30 or so, it became entirely too ridiculous, and I had to let it go. I thought the story started out well enough, but once the mask's powers were revealed (seriously, it turns the user into a god-like vampire? :| ) and the whole deal with the "Ripple" started into full-swing, I couldn't take much more. Also, is it just me, or do all of the men in the manga look like they're on some serious steroids? :? 'Nothing against you personally, but I don't see what's so great about it. Star.
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is pretty good. I thought it would drag on but it kept me interested, the story flows very smoothly. I was going to watch GA Geijutsuka Art Design Class but that girl with glasses that is halfway down her face puts me off. Why do some really good animes have only 13 episodes? :( ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢

Why do some really good animes have only 13 episodes? :( I just think because its tough to make a really good anime with a ton of episodes. The only really good one with a large number of episodes that I know of is Monster, which has 74ep. Otherwise I usually like the 13-24ep animes or so. Harakiri
I noticed that most of the good animes have only 26ish episodes. A lot of the longer ones drag out.

bongo_man
Whew! It took me 12 hours to finish Rurouni Kenshin (from ep.32-62), but I've finally completed it! I'm definitely going to watch it again in a few years. I decided to let the fillers die, and only watched the last filler episode (95). I was planning to watch One Piece next, but some of my friends spoiled it for me when they were discussing it -_- so I think I'll tackle Inuyasha next since it caught my interest in the past when I used to watch an episode here and there on YTV. Granted, 167 episodes will take a little more than a week with school starting up soon >_ [If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]
Star.
Yeah, I guess with too many episode you get too many arcs and pointless fillers. To be honest, I wouldn't mind seeing some pointless episodes of some of my favorite animes. Hmm, I guess that's how fans feel about the other longer ones such as Naruto and Bleach. Who the heck is subbing Taishou Yakyuu Musume? Or not subbing it by the looks of things. ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢ CAUTION ☢
Nadril
Yeah, I guess with too many episode you get too many arcs and pointless fillers. Yeah filler is really annoying. As far as added arcs go, Monster added a TON of new story elements, and at one point you really do wonder how the [bleep] they're going to give closure to everything. It's awesome though because pretty much everything winds together in the end. :P

Yeah, I wish Bleach would have followed the manga instead of adding the story arc about the bounts...it would have made the series move at a much brisker, much fresher pace.
