I'll concede the point about using stat boosters on the minis when you're taking damage. I am still having a tough time figuring out which prayers I want to use lol, I can't decide whether the boosts from using high stat boosters are worth the loss of brews from having to take more restores.

I just tried a trip with accurate, got scared because I couldn't run away as fast as with rapid. Guess I'll try and get used to it. :P

Hope I didn't sound bossy lol, it's a really awesome guide. <3:

No worries, personally I don't like rapid as it makes me take a step or two towards Zilyana if you're shooting her from the corners :x

Very good guide, I've been soloing her for quite a while, but I should do it more often.

I can almost always get over 15 kills with the terrorbird method.

Thinking of going there to try out unicorn stallion + sweets, and I think I have the potential to get 25+ kills. I sometimes solo for a bit with unicorn + sweets after a team trip, and I have the timing perfect so that I can eat sweets and never stop ranging, and with unicorn I do not need to bring brews. Only problem with that method is the cost of sweets.

I guess that could also be a good method for those without 52 summoning :P

nice, for zammy item i wouldnt use the chaps, 100k loss adds up, unholy symbol is like 500 gp or less, is the extra range attack really worth it for the kc?

also, i went soloing once, only got 1 kill lol, is 90 range good enough with 87 def? my friend said he got 10 kills with 85 range and 80 def...

It's good enough, you just need to get used to dodging the melee attacks

Just did my first trip, only got 2 kills :x Had a lot of restores left though, so I'm gonna bring some more brews and less restores next trip.

My first drop were 2 ranarr seeds, second drop were coins (19k ish).

Yeah, you can adjust the amount of brews:res that you bring as you get better at dodging Zil's attacks. Those ranarr seeds build up, I had 86 before I noticed lol.

i was wondering.. as there is a chance that while getting ur kc that u get rune hally drop(s) from the spiritual warriors or even dragon boots fomr the spiritual mages...

the problem is, what should i do if i happen to get such drop as these drops could fund my trip, but it sounds bad too as the pots are really needed.

whats ur advice at this nightshade?

If I get a boots drop, I'll often just drop my snakeskin ones and wear the dragon, although you could still juggle items until after you summon your second bird. For a rune or level 3 clue drop you need to juggle brews until you have your KC and are about to do the bird trick. (Drop a Brew, pick up the desired item; continue with KC; Drop another Brew and pick up the other every few kills) This more or less means that you have 29 Inventory spaces. Once you have your KC, have killed your bird and are on the same floor as Zilyana's room drop 13 items instead of the usual 12. You can now go back and take the 13 items that are upstairs (12 from bird + one from juggling), go back downstairs, summon your new bird (freeing one inventory space) then pick up all your items. Note that if you get more than one drop that you wish to keep you will need to sacrifice a potion - I personally would drop a range potion but that's just me ;)

I hope that was clear :geek:
