August 13, 200817 yr I was training slayer at Kalphites with my trusty cannon, had only been there for like a few minutes and killed maybe 20 of them. Then along comes a 135. He turns face to my cannon and suddenly the cannon just disappears. I got no message explaining the disappearance, nor did I get the "Your cannon has almost decayed" message prior to this. I got the cannon back from the dwarf, but this is just really annoying. I did ask him how he did that, but he gave no answer. Has this happened to anyone else? Mods please move, if needed.
August 13, 200817 yr This belongs in Bugs and Suggestions. I reported it for you. On topic, wow that sounds crazy. I've never used a cannon before, but it doesn't sounds very fun to have to go all the way back to the dwarf.

August 13, 200817 yr Author I didn't pick it up, was not in my inventory and I got a new one from the dwarf and I only got one cannnon.
August 13, 200817 yr When RS2 first came out and I was still a noob with only 1 phat, I encountered a similar bug. I was able to pick up anyone else's cannon to replace mine which had recayed. This was limited to once per decay, and they were able to get a free replacement. I reported this bug to JAGeX years ago, and they fixed it. Perhaps it has returned?

Hopefully, if Jagex fixes the bug before taking care of the player, they'll figure out what was wrong and whether it was the player that did it on purpose or just an error from the game's part. August 17, 200817 yr I have had that before also at Kalphites. I was using a cannon and someone came in, (no idea what level, but higher than me) and my cannon dissapeared, no warning like you. I went to the dwarf and it was there. Got it straight back, but was weird. Hope they get it fixed.
