Alabama/Florida is one Tech blew their chance even with the same record, noone wants a team that got blown out so recently now Oklahoma? beat Tech by a hundred points at home Texas beat Oklahoma on a neutral field by 10 but lost to Texas Tech on the road with 1 second to go oklahoma still has to play oklahoma state who always seems to play them well it'll be interesting :D What?

November 23, 200817 yr I was at the Cincinnati vs. Pitt game last night. I'd love to see a UC vs. Ohio State Orange Bowl Game. That would be epic for my area. Last.Fm My Bloggy Proud to have served on Tip.it Crew
November 23, 200817 yr Alabama and Florida voted #1 and #2 in the AP. Oklahoma jumps Texas to #3. BCS standings will be different of course, but thats the AP poll. I was at the Cincinnati vs. Pitt game last night. I'd love to see a UC vs. Ohio State Orange Bowl Game. That would be epic for my area. Sorry won't happen. The ACC champion gets an automatic bid for the Orange bowl. Cinnci can get there don't get me wrong, but it won't be Cinnci vs Ohio State. I wish i could tell you who the ACC champ would be, but its so wide open still no one has any idea. If i could guess it'd either be Florida State or Georgia Tech. By far the most balanced conference in the NCAA. ACC is tied with the SEC for bowl eligible teams, they have 1 on the bubble and the ACC has 3 on the bubble with a possibility of having 11 teams eligible. Thats the ENTIRE conference minus one. Thats amazing and balance if i've ever seen it.
November 24, 200817 yr Oh looks like Texas is #2 in the BCS nice. Also I retake the statement I said about being an OSU fan next week. That would mean TT would go to the CCG not good. Unless they lost somehow to Missouri. That would be some crazy stuff right there.
November 24, 200817 yr Polls are rigged. USC only lost one game, killed all the teams they faced and there's no talk about them in the National Championship wtf BR BR BR? HUEHUEHEUEHUE
November 24, 200817 yr Polls are rigged. USC only lost one game, killed all the teams they faced and there's no talk about them in the National Championship wtf they havent really played much worthy teams.. World 46 Regular
November 24, 200817 yr New BCS standings are out. 1. Bama 2. Texas 3. OU 4. UF 5. USC 6. Utah 7. TTU 8. PSU 9. Boise 10. OSU Complete garbage IMO, lots of teams got screwed. That #10 OSU is Ohio St, which makes me mad. They are NOT the best two loss team in the country. USC is ahead of Penn St and TT, which doesn't make sense to me either as well as an 11-0 Boise St. Texas moved up even though they had a bye week. My only hope is that Florida wins its last 2, compared to texas's and Oklahoma's last 1 and jumps to #1 or #2. Florida deserves to be playing for the title this year, more so then other teams up there. I think they will expose Alabama and show everyone they really arn't as good as people think.
November 24, 200817 yr What garbage. Florida should be in the title...they beat everyone by like 50 points every game, and they're in a difficult conference. Screw Alabama and Texas.
November 24, 200817 yr If Florida wins both games left, At FSU and against Alabama, they will probably be playing for it. 2 big big games to get through though.
November 24, 200817 yr Author Polls are rigged. USC only lost one game, killed all the teams they faced and there's no talk about them in the National Championship wtfI think USC is up there with Texas/Oklahoma easily, but to be fair, they likely won't win their conference, and if that's the case, they shouldn't make it. I'd have more sympathy if Georgia wasn't snubbed last year because of not winning the SEC. Also, if OKST somehow beats OU, and Texas Tech wins the Big XII, I don't know how this is gonna work out. And Florida and Alabama better watch out, I wouldn't be shocked if FSU or Auburn pulled the upset in huge rivalry games. If one of them somehow loses, and beats the other in the SECCG, it will shake things up even more. I'm ready for some drama. \ Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651
November 24, 200817 yr I wish Tech and Florida would play championship. Alas, not likely. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
November 24, 200817 yr I wish Tech and Florida would play championship. Alas, not likely. Texas Tech? They would get slaughtered. Depending on the Bama game, I'd rather it be Florida and Oklahoma. I want to see how Florida fares against Bama though.
November 24, 200817 yr I wish Tech and Florida would play championship. Alas, not likely. Texas Tech? They would get slaughtered. Not rly. Go PSU again, pooped on Mich St. All I gotta say is Jevon Ringer - 42 rushing yards. 8-)
November 24, 200817 yr Rant. National coverage and Rivalry games. Its so biased. I hate it. By far the most underrated Rivalry game = Clemson vs. South Carolina. But of course, media seems to of forgotten it even though its been played consistently for the last 112 years. I guess thats ok though, they don't understand rivalries in the south. They can't appreciate it. My new prediction for the BCS Title game - Florida vs Oklahoma. Florida winning.

Dude Clemson vs South Carolina my favorite rivalry game!!?!? What's the best thing to come out of that game in a while. I'm going to be guessing nothing. No wonder why it doesn't get the recognition it so "deservedly" demands from you. You can't appreciate something that isn't that good. It might be good to you, but the media couldn't care less. All they want is $$$$$. Hell I rather watch Yale vs. Harvard and Yale now that is one history driven rivalry.
November 25, 200817 yr You really have no idea about Southern rivalry games, do you  catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
November 25, 200817 yr Okay and why would I care about South Carolina and Clemson. Maybe if they were half as good as they were suppose to be I would give an ounce of care. I couldn't care less if it's in the south, mid west, east, north, w/e. Neither should the media.
November 25, 200817 yr Okay and why would I care about South Carolina and Clemson. Maybe if they were half as good as they were suppose to be I would give an ounce of care. I couldn't care less if it's in the south, mid west, east, north, w/e. Neither should the media. Why? Because its quality football. Because its always a great game, any football fan should enjoy games like this. Because it always determines and has bowl implications, adds 2 more teams to the mix. Because it has so much emotion and isn't just a [garden tool] hum game like a lot of other "rivalries". The media shouldn't care, but they are biased. I'd type a long response as to why southern rivalries are better then any around the country, but i know it wouldn't get read here. Having actually been to games across the country i can honestly say i have a first hand perspective.
November 25, 200817 yr Author I love rivalry week because all the interesting games are on, but it means it's the second to last week of the regular season, which sucks. Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651
November 25, 200817 yr I love it as well. Hit Clemson about 6-7am, setup the tailgate wait for Gameday and the first games of the day to start, go watch Clemson play and come out and stay until about 11pm to finish watching the games on tv in the parking lot. Nothing better then this coming week in football.

And Georgia and Clemson need to start playing each other again. Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651
November 30, 200817 yr Rivalry week was great! The SEC had a complete meltdown which made the day pretty good (for the ACC). ACC went 3-1 over the SEC this weekend. Florida again looked amazing, Alabama was just good, nothing special. Florida and Bama are now #1 and #2 in the AP poll....which means the SEC title game is going to be good....for Florida. SEC Meltdowns: Clemson dominated South Carolina Wake Forrest beat the once surprising Vandy Georgia Tech completely gashed UGA Then Arkansas beats LSU AT LSU.
