(go look a guide "A Skillers Life" if u want to know why) F2p 99... I'd say cooking. Or firemaking. As for smithing, you just need to find the best item to smith that doesnt lose you money. (for members it usually is bolts) Or superheat mith/addy/rune bars. With money Being no object smithing is clearly the best option because it can be very benificial with a decent mining lvl. With 85 mining and 99 smithing 1million gp per hour should be no problem. making it the best money in f2p and even one of the best money making ways in p2p... so yes maybe you will spen 100mil or more on getting 99 smithing, but you will not regret it once you are able to make rune platebodies...Correct mew if i am wrong |Tip.it's TOP F.o.G player|Current Goals: 95STR/95ATK/95RANGED|

August 18, 200817 yr As an f2per, I can tell you firemaking takes forever and has absolutely no use. Cooking is the same, after 70 your fine. Smithing on the other hand, you can make everything. After 97 smithing it's free and efficient making rune kites, by buying rune bars and smithing into kites, then selling in the grand exchange. Best method is mithril plate bodies to 88, then adamant platebodies to 97, then rune kites to 99.
August 18, 200817 yr just calculated a bit of smitting for myself... making mith platebodies from 70 till 85 would result in this : cost of buying 49378 bars : 53,278 k selling all the platebodies : 33,379 k total loss : 19,899,334 gp then 85-99 would result in ... cost of buying 118945 bars : 266,912 k selling the platebodies on ge : 232,418 k total loss : 34,494,050 gp so if you want to lose 54,393,384 gp for training to 99 starting from 70 ==> smitting if your skill to do! but !! ....crafting with ruby amulets would result in only 23,127,560 gp loss if you do 50 => 99. you choose, choose wisely .... Drops : 3x zammy spear, 3x g maul, 1x d platelegs

What would the use of 99Crafting me? 99 crafting is much better IMO. Yes sure it cost 55mil to get it to 99, but with a good mining lvl you will be able to make more than 55million back in a month you missed the "fast" part ? because i clearly missed the " want to earn money back" part. crafting is way faster.... Drops : 3x zammy spear, 3x g maul, 1x d platelegs
