Featured Replies

I need help with my range training. I'm currently 75 range 87 hits and 60 defence. I can use bronze, iron or steel arrows for training. I have plently of food and the right armour for different monsters, however i don't know what monsters to train on. Anybody please help me.

99 Strength Achieved 26/9/08. L0L in 3 years I've made 7m. In the past 2 days I've made 7.2m on top of that thanks to Bounty Hunter. So why play for 3 years when you can do that?

Lesser demons maybe

You should kill Flesh Crawlers I guess, I didn't start Ranging until I became a member.

Wow thanks, didn't expect replies so fast. I got from 70 to 75 range at lessers but it was extremelly boring. Flesh crawlers are an idea though.

I would recommend that you Safe Spot the Moss Giants on Crandor Island. I got myself 47-52 there in about an hour maybe.

My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

Alot of people think this is a stupid way of training, but i find that it works rteally well. What you do is wear rune helm, rune legs, dhide body, rune kite, then use a crossbow and bronze bolts, its really really cheap, and you can hit the same as with iron arrows(withc is a 10 at your lvl)

It'd be worth noting it's in the dungeon, but he probably already knows that.

Flesh crawlers are absolutely terible range xp, do not train there. With 99 range I have trouble hitting them constanly. They are just for lazy people who wan't to afk.

Steel arrows and lesser demons are what I did. The drops will make your costs break even. Other posible monster are ice giants in the ice caves, or ankous on the 4th level of the SoS.

What ever you kill use either steel or adamant arrows.

Does it really matter whether I was right? #-o
This is Tipit. There is nothing more important than being right.

Common sense is nothing more than a deposit of prejudices laid down in the mind before you reach eighteen.

Ice Giants and Warriors! There's a safespot down there and the drops are pretty good. Just be sure to have enough food and if you have the Explorer's Ring (3), might as well teleport out when you're full so you can bank at Draynor and come back quickly!

I don't disagree with ANY of the ideas above, all are relevant and have advantages disadvantages;

I was training ranged at flesh crawlers. (Which is mediocre exp, and boring but you don't have to pay 100% attention) Ended up killing zombies and they were brilliant. You got back a lot of steel arrows, and no drops are breathtaking, but it's consistent exp which is fairly fun. (It's faster than giants, probably even lessers and is quite a lot more fun) There is a room with only zombies. (I think L30, but don't hold me to it.)

It's good exp at my level, but I bet at yours it would be excellent. Go ahead and say any feedback you have after you've trained there. (If you decide to do so)

Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

On the second level of the Black Knight Fortress, there's an altar and a room adjacent to it with 2 blk knights. If you've got 43 pray, you can pop it on and attack them all day long, no food required. If you've got lvl 44 pray, you can boost your ranged with eagle eye, giving you a pretty 15% bonus to your ranged.

I know a few 99 range F2P'ers who trained there. It's very good! You should bring a fire staff and some nature runes to alch the metal drops. You can safespot there for months and get a few prayer levels, too.
